We were goofing around Christmas day and two of my stronger nephews kicked the ball over 50 yards. I kicked one 35 years so give us a call we are Steeler fans and want to help.

There is really no excuse for not having another punter on the roster. The Steelers knew of Harvin's situation. Not only that but you had a guy on your practice squad whom you released.

I hate that Boswell has to do both. Bos is the Steelers most consistent offensive weapon. Risking injury to him is just stupid.

Why can't Mason Rudolph hold? I just don't understand why that doesn't seem to be an option.

Forget what I wrote above. The Steelers seem to have found their Punter.

Ben can’t punt. Just cause he did a couple pooch punts early in his career doesn’t make him a adequate punter.

Punting yards are from the LOS, not where you kick it (unlike FGs). If you recompute and still kicked what you said, then that's pretty good.

In an emergency you can just poach one off of another teams practice squad.

Maybe MR can hold and will. Not sure anything definitive has been communicated. My question is how many games will this impact?

The Chiefs punter/holder is out. The Chiefs kicker is out. They do have their long snapper, though.

Win. We will have Boz kick for them also. If he happens 2 shank a punt , or miss a field goal for them....
Well so be it. He tried.

That's a dumb statement, plenty of backup QBs have won Super Bowls.

Right I remember that one. But on that list, many of those QBs played as the starter for a good part of the season. I would say Foster is talking about QBs who were thrust into that position very recent to their playoff appearance. And the backup Miami QB we beat whose name I can't even remember wasn't taking that team to the SB. Get real here.

I bash Tomlin a lot but your constant defense of him at all costs borders on the bizarre.

That's just a dumb thing to even worry about, like the Steelers are supposed to apologize for beating a backup QB in the playoffs . They beat Matt Moore of Miami, he was actually a decent backup in his career, I think he was with the Chiefs also.

Not saying they need to apologize, but it is concerning that one of the more recent playoff wins was against a team that was without starting QB. Not a challenging prospect. If the Dolphins had Tanehill starting, do we still win that game? Who knows.

The same Tannehill they have beaten with the Titans the last two years .
