This game is going to get ugly, maybe the Steelers should just forfeit .

Not having a punter is not good, but Harvin is also the holder, so that’s an extra issue.

Condolences to Pressley on the loss of his father.

Boz punted a bit in college, so he can do it…. Sutton has done some holding, as has Ben.

We could just score on every drive… Problem solved!

I get off work in about 2 hours. Pick me up in a private jet at the airport and I'll bring my Steel Toe shoes. Heck I'll even scramble for a first down if I have to. My front yard is 370 feet wide so I have plenty of practice. Please don't age discriminate against me. 55 years old aint that bad for a punter. JS.;)

Him being the holder as well is a real problem. In this moment I'd like to think that if you had a little more like Farve did and be able to fly in late play the game and then get back to the family.

Dude, when my dad died I was a mess for a pretty long time. My work was the last thing on my mind. You think he should just put it behind him and be able to compete at a high level? Trust me it's not that easy.

Everyone is different as are the circumstances. My dad had a prolonged illness before he died, so I was able to get ready for him to die. He told me a few weeks before he died that he'd be extremely pissed at me if I used his death as an excuse to be away from work and my responsibilities for more than a couple days. He said death is inevitable for all, but it's no reason for the living to stop living. Differences in people.

My father was 87 years old with dementia in a very bad way for 2 years. Died in hospice. I knew it was inevitable but it still stung me to no end. Harvins dad was much younger than mine was. Can't imagine what he's going through right now and if he wants to take time off then I have no problem with it. I don't even have much of a problem with Tuitt taking all that time off if they would just admit that is the situation.

I just lost my mom this past October 17th after she battled Alzheimer's and dementia for the last year. She was almost 95 and we all knew it was coming. I was messed up bad for awhile and still have moments. Today was the 1st Christmas without mom and it hurt alot.

I hate hearing stuff like this. Harvin is still young to lose his father already. RIP. Especially during this time of year.

We won't need a punter ...... The offense will come to life and we'll never see a 4th down unless we're in field goal range

If Tomlin was a good coach we wouldn’t need a punter!

    Am I doing it right?

I feel for Harvin and wish the best for him and his family.

I'm wondering if the recent changes in the league's COVID protocols will allow one of the newly-signed punters to play in the game tomorrow. If not, cutting one from the practice squad while knowing Harvin's situation was incredibly stupid.

I was trying to edit that, because I know it didn't come out the way I was thinking it, but it didn't post .

I know everyone is different, but I was meaning that it would be nice if he did have that kind of ability, but it's understandable that he doesn't.

What sucks is there's many places that don't allow a person that time to properly grieve and they have to go right back to work.

Question though: Do they still get the regular game check if they are excused absence like that? Also, what about taxes. I know many states tax the game checks of the visiting team since they "earned" the paycheck while in the State. Lots of varying laws on that I know.

Agree with this. Sounds like a ripe situation to get Boz injured.

I think you can say Tomlin is a good coach but that we still need a change based on beating one starting quarterback in the playoffs in the last eleven seasons.
