You want to make the big bucks playing football then you have to be ready to accept the immense pressure from fans that come along with it.
I don’t fault anyone for booing him that wasn’t aware of his Dad’s situation and the fact he was in attendance.

Not one of the better looks Steelers Nation has had with last Sunday booing Presley, but I don’t think anyone booing for poor performance knew anything about the situation going on with his Dad and family.
Condolences to him and his family.
Not sure if he will punt tomorrow or not against the Chiefs but I support his decision either way.
We expect a lot out these guys as fans but they are human and have problems and issues in their lives just like the rest of us.

Wasnt it Brett Favre that had one of his better games the day after his dad died ? Maybe Harvin can do the same

Favre threw 5 TD's that day. It would be awesome for Harvin to throw a ST's TD tomorrow (if he plays).

Sad news. RIP Mr. Harvin. It is encouraging to see the entire unit bonding though. Harvin Boz and Kuntz.

Have you seen our 1st halfs lately? Probably punt 5 or 6 times then 3 in the 3rd quarter before we start our infamous 4th quarter comeback attempt.

There isn't a fan base in the NFL that doesn't boo a shanked punt or kickoff.

Trying to shade Pittsburgh's fans is just a trashy exploitation of the Harvin family's grief.

Pretty sure Tomlin greeting the Harvin family and the Steelers giving the family front row seats was a bigger plus than one or two plays that involved booing.

If Pressley Harvin II hadn't instilled accountability in the III he wouldn't be where he is today- shanking punts for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I guarantee he is proud of his son and a little booing didn't change that. A couple bumps in the road is expected.

Actually, my father was a doctor, and that was the way I was raised.

But, the loss of family and loved ones is still sad.

    And then you move on.

Watch him kick the hell out of it but as one poster said lets hope he doesn't kick at all.

I think we never had to punt the year we beat the Eagles to hand them their first loss. We did same thing to Pats the week before, Fantastic two weeks for a Steeler fan.

How terribly sad for his family.

But in an odd way, it'll also be a relief. Felt that way about my Dad's passing. We knew his time was short for a few months. Yes. We grieved. But the months long dread of waiting was also over.

My condolences. Take time to grieve. But the clouds will part eventually.
