I don’t get it but whatever you are saying. 2022 - 2010 is 12 Super Bowls (assuming this years end)

You seen JEH around lately? Hope that old dog is ok.

If this season ends with no playoff wins as you are predicting and you count 12 years back , that would include the 2010 season also. You should’ve said 11 years then you would’ve been correct.

Sometimes he just sits back enjoying a cold one and observes us nitwits while cracking jokes at our expense with his dogs.

    He’ll be back.

You're getting tripped up on years vs. seasons. The Steelers lost the 2010 season's Super Bowl in February, 2011. So technically, after the 2021 season's Super Bowl, in February of 2022, it will have been 11 years since their last appearance, but 12 seasons.

Assuming, that is, they somehow get derailed from their path to Inglewood this season.

Yeah, once he runs out of beer and gets a little cranky (having to deal with all the damn kids at the market and all) he stops in here to let us damn kids know how it was back in his day as well.

True, but it took a blocked punt and narrow wins over Bridgewater, Geno, and Fields, and a tie with Detroit. They're running on fumes now with injuries mounting and the soft schedule behind them, but I said it before and will say it again, if MT gets this team in the playoffs he should get coach of the year.

Not in the W-L column, but they matter. They're indicators.

Ugly win in the Super Bowl is awesome, but you string together a few against bad teams and it's just a matter of time before the unsustainability of it comes home to roost.

Really...Do You Honestly think Bill Belcheat cares about style Points, how many times they've scored 30 points, or that His Qb is not throwing down the field.
    NO.
The Man has Won How many titles doing exactly the opposite. Only Fantasy fans, and Kids worry about style Points. Complimentary Football. If You do that You will win more then You lose. Not Look at ME ....I throw down the field more than anyone....

This is a total misconception. If anything Tomlin teams have started slow.
I think Steelers depot did a piece on it in the off-season. His winning % in Dec is like 70% IIRC.

When one makes a living by raising hell in December, it is what it is. Although, what we’ve yet to determine is if raising hell meant winning games.

    Huh?

That's 3 years old but Dec is 73%

Worst case we'll add in 3 years taking a total to 64 Dec games.

For the sake of my laziness I'll say we lost them all.

    That's 38-26 that's ~ 60%

I know we haven't gone 0-12 in the past 3 years in Dec.
