I'm for the belief you can't have your cake and eat it too. You can't say your a leader and when leadership is needed say it isn't your job.

Witherspoon’s two picks were nice, but man he looked like he was running in the mud on the second INT. And that end zone photo shoot down by three touchdowns was ridiculous! But I do like his ball skills.

No. You are allowing your frustration with Claypool to mislead you. Most of that time lost was due to one of the Vikings knocking the ball away and getting away with it. That's on the officials, not Claypool.

His error in judgement was inexcusable. It is one of the dumbest, most selfish things I've seen done on a football field. You don't have to fictionalize it.

Who said anything about breaking the bank , he will probably sign with someone else. He is and has been clutch for Steelers
Who does Ben look for when a big play is needed? You guessed it.

Didn’t Turner our guy knock the ball to the ground because Claypool was arguing with him before the ref got it? You can try and defend him all you want but his stupidity cost them at the very least one more shot at the
Trai Turner was trying to rip it from him and dropped it you’re the one With the memory problem.

Watch more closely. You can see the Minnesota player (54?) slap it down and away.

Witherspoon gave up 16 yards on the first two plays of the game. I told my wife he was already having a long day. If he is player of the game then it’s because everyone else sucked.

i agree with much of what you say b&g. #3 though i don't fully. i love TJ and he deserves a big payday but without he and highsmith in the second half that defense played pretty inspired and better. not saying that's the reason but it is evident that they can play without how TJ goes. they should be even better with him in the game and just weren't.

To be fair, they were facing an opponent on cruise control with a big lead. Also, the Steelers did make changes, going with an extra inside linebacker at times, getting Buddy Johnson into the game, and selling out to stop the run. It seems as if they finally realized the best course of action was to make Cousins beat them because he was missing open receivers much of the night. Aside from the one long touchdown, that strategy worked.

Steeler fans complain about every announcer. I swear there’s something in the water that creates this victim mentality.

Stopping the run wasn't going to be fixed with the current personnel.

You act like this is a bad thing. Go back to Bill Parcels getting the Cowboys to 8 wins and declaring it a phenomenal season because “they” couldn’t call “them” losers anymore. This was what, less than 8 years from winning the super bowl. If you don’t ever go down into the basement, you don’t have to worry about getting trapped there.

Do 8-8 seasons suck? Absolutely…when you expect to win in the playoffs. And yet, they aren’t losing seasons.

They switch camera angles just as it happens. Be nice if there was another angle.
