Ben was seen yelling at the WR coach Hillard, it was probably about Claypool screwing up.

He was probably like, "get him out of here!"

Claypool had a big catch late, but he wasn't out there much ... partial benching?

I’m starting to think Claypool is the second coming of Plexico. Great athlete. Dumber than a box of rocks.

    Let us pray he's not.
Though I have had the same things in my mind.

All Claypool needs are some earbuds in his helmet so he can listen to music while he plays!!

I'll chalk it up as a minor sophomore slump mixed with a little bit of immaturity. I watched him in warmups before the Cincinnati game and he was working harder than any other players out there by far. I still think he has a ton of talent and will be a great player in this league. No way I give up on him this early.

    He definitely works hard

And I do remember how extremely mature I was at that age

We on TSF pride ourselves on giving up on rookies after three games.

Ok, on the “lot of P’s” TD and vid clip of the all 22 above angle.

So I’m not not taking anything away from the very well designed play, the play call, the full team execution, Ben’s perfect pump fake and throw, or even Diante’s nice route.

But aside of the those mentions, it’s the other receiver (not sure who? Ray Ray or Washington) on the inside of hash marks that runs his route up towards the sideline that causes the jerk off DB’s to get caught up with each other to free up DJ maybe even more than anything he did.

    Teamwork!

I just believe that Claypool has sadly become a victim of his own hype at this point. For me, this was a pivotal game for him to bounce back; doubly so with Diontae commanding Marlon's attention. While Matt Canada's Offense does not make full use of Claypool's abilities, Claypool himself has done both Big Ben and Canada little to no favors with his inconsistency all season.

Some may be upset, enraged even, that the Steelers could draft a WR should JuJu Leave. Do not be surprised if they do for, as it stands, Diontae Johnson, Pat Freiermuth and Najee Harris are currently the team's most consistent offensive players. Until proven otherwise, Chase Claypool has become a headache to say the least.

I was going to say Claypool reminds m of Bryant. Good footwork, not always committing to the catch. Bryant improved very quickly, I think like @AskQuestionsLater@AskQuestionsLater says Claypool has bought into his own hype a bit which is causing the sophomore slump.

how about clayoole's retarded push off of a man HE HAD BEAT early in the game - then he missed the pass, b/c he would rather push off than RUN THRU THE CATCH.
The is not a bust.....YET - but he has lots of work to do. or he will be....

Diontae is Teams MIP (most improved player). Contracts to him, he earned a nice contract coming up...

Diontae also had a big oops in the game. It happens. I like Chase Claypool. I think he has a ton of talent. Definitely not giving up on him.
