We are the fourth best team and roster on the division and in desperate need of talent in the following areas. O line ,qb, corner , Mike lb, and d line . It is a total rebuild. Trade some veteran talent and get picks and keep Ben in the last six games to end up 5-11-1. Need high draft picks in later rounds to begin long rebuild . It will take three years. Next fire dc and see if Canada is any good next year. We know tomlin is not going anywhere but doubt he ever makes it to another super bowl

The problem is this team felt they were a true contender and they made stupid picks using capital(bush) and other picks to fill players in a win now mode. 2014-2017 was win now mode and they failed miserably.

Unfortunately this is real life. You wont yield a quality draft pick trading anyone. Typically the only way to do that is to trade a young pro bowl player or a starting QB . The only players to fit that description is Watt, Harris, and Pat. No other player on this roster will get you anything more than a 4th rnd pick. Maybe Minkah gets you a 3rd.

You might want to add safety and WR to your list. Juju, Washington and Edmunds are all fa’s. Washington is garbage anyway. Johnson is the only starting WR and imo a #2 at best. Claypool has some serious issues to work on but should develop with some good coaching.

Financially I think we have no choice but to let Ben go. Use the first rnd on the best player available. Use FA to plug holes. There’s only 1 QB worth a 1st rnd pick and we aint getting him so give Mason the starting job and sign a vet QB to compete. Focus on fixing the Oline and Dline. Get the running game back on track.

We are 2 seasons from competing assuming we draft well and MT is replaced.

I meAnt make trades in off season before next draft. Anyone with value is on the table. This is not a team competing for three years so trade anyone with value

They don't have much to trade, but I'd try to unload Schobert and Cam in the offseason. Get Cam to a team with a shot to win him the Super Bowl he deserves.

So trade away established good players to get luck of the draw draft picks then we are great again? Solid plan
