Najee seems to have a better head on his shoulders. Bell was/is a head case. At least that's the impression I get.

Why did they cut him? Not what he once was obviously, but he seemed serviceable when used.

 

I never got that impression at all. He was never a problem until there was a contract dispute. He went overboard with it, thinking he was worth more than the Steelers would pay, but his only issue with a contract dispute.

I don't even consider the drug stuff an issue. It's absolutely ridiculous that weed is still a banned substance. The NFL, and the US at the Federal level, need to get their heads out of their asses with that nonsense.

 

They are getting healthy again and needed the roster spot
