    Stick with the 10- 7.
I also believe that will make us a 6th. Not that it will matter much. Only one Bye.

He hasn't been impactful for some time now, He really needs to make plays for us
to get where we need to be.

They had him moving around too much earlier in the season.

It's just crazy that after 7 games the Steelers as a team only have 2 interceptions. Especially when you see Diggs for the Cowboys has 7 already.

Yea, Yea not only has not been around the ball but when he is
his tackling is suspect. Ed Reed he is not.

    I predicted 12-5
I am hopeful that can still happen. But 10-7 seems a little more obtainable. After how we started out the season i’m just glad to be stringing together some wins.

This is what concerns me. It’s similar to when we scratched and clawed our way to an 8-5 record in 2019 with Mason and Duck taking turns at QB, only to fall apart in December. It’s very hard for the defense to hold up for a full season when they have to carry the team, and every injury to a starter threatens to be a season killer. The offense is improving on tape, but it needs to start consistently translating to the scoreboard.

Can't really compare the 2 seasons....For one that D was forcing turnovers left and right...not this year. Also we were number 1 in a lot of categories on defense that year....I don't believe we are even number 2 on any this year.

If that is the best our All Pro safety does for year, that's not saying much, especially the missed tackles this year let alone his lack of PBU and interceptions for the year.

What happened to a win being all that mattered?

Yeah, that’s not the winning tweet Kozora thinks it is. That will catch up to them if they don’t figure out how to score more points than that.

I mean you are not wrong at the end of the day you are what your record says. We are an average team. We have a solid D when healthy and a terrible passing offense that has gotten better at the run game.

I think they finish 10-7 too and maybe 11-6 if they can pull an upset or two. I think they beat the Bears,Lions, at Cincy, at Minnesota, and Tennessee and Cleveland at home. And I think they could win 1 of these 4 games either game with the Ravens home or away or at LA against the Chargers or at KC against the Chiefs which would get them to 11 wins and most likely a definite playoff spot.

That doesn’t lessen my concern about how many more wins we’re going to be able to scrape together.

I think he agreed in a reply in that thread that it was not sustainable.

I had us at 4-3 at this point when I saw the schedule at the beginning of the year. But the only win I had right was against Denver. I had us losing to Buffalo, Seattle and Cleveland. So I have the record correct but almost didn't get any games right.

The difference is the 2021 team has a chance to improve on offense as the season goes on.

We were spoiled by Minkah's splash plays in 2019, the defense as a whole was better then compared to now.

If they can continue to improve in the run game, Ben's play will improve also.

Bens inability to accurately throw downfield (10 plus yards) handcuffs what this offense is capable of. The O Line has improved since the beginning of the year when it was one of the worst in football. That being said it is still a below average group who cannot win games alone pounding the rock. We are getting lucky right now winning some ugly games against injured teams. The next two weeks we play really bad teams and could win. After that the last 8 games the law of averages will catch up.

If Ben can't throw accurately downfield (10 plus yards), explain those long TDs to Diontae?
