when it went under review it certainly did show that angle. It just amazes me that if I talk about an udfa or a cast off as Glenn says it's a bad thing. It's well noted a good part of the league is made up of these guys. I just said he didn't look lost on the field and he did contribute to a pivotal play in the win, like it or not.

 

like those experts that thought the big on our kicker was legit? It's ok that you and them can be wrong.

 

People need to remember that Taco Charlton was once a 1st Round Pick not too long ago. I am more curious though as to why he was sent back to the Practice Squad if Melvin Ingram is headed out soon. If Ingram is expected to be shipped out, why not just keep him on the 53.... unless the Steelers are interested in acquiring a player in the trade as well?!

He was 'elevated' to the 53-man roster, not 'promoted' to it. The 2020 CBA allows teams to 'elevate' up to two players from its practice squad to active roster for a particular week's game, so long as it's done by 4pm the day prior. Elevated players automatically revert back to the PS the day after the game. This was a new provision, and can only be exercised twice on the same PS player - the third time up they must be offered an NFL contract.

Taco isn’t even listed on the box score. He didn’t even make a tackle or an assist.

93.7 the fan was saying at lunchtime that Taco had passed up Ingram in practice and was going to be the 3rd OLB with Ingram being the 4th. That was the final straw for Ingram who then wanted traded. There might be something to that as Tomlin really praised Taco today for coming in and making a contribution to the win.

 

I got some , but I would be kicked off the Board for them. So....I will keep them for myself. LoL
