Positive viewing for much of the central East Coast, the South and the majority of what some refer to as "Flyover" States. Looks like Game Pass at 1:20 PDT for us left coasters which is better for a hearty lunch than late breakfast. Remember, don't any of you call me with updates until say 4pm PDT. ;)

Can you tell what city Carson Wentz went to college in? Of all the stupid reasons to care a Colts game in Eastern ND and Western MN I would count this near the top.

I get to use my Sunday ticket package again. The dumb eagles are on fox so there is no game on CBS.

HAHA! The Foreskins/Broncos game is on TV here in my county instead of Brady vs. Saints.

North Dakota State, Fargo, eastern ND on MN western boarder

Now I’m certainly not the person you should get technology information from, but I found something on my phone called Goggle (although it’s spelled wrong on my phone) that you can look stuff up on.

My step daughter is a senior this year ranked 3rd in her class, national honors society and pretty much straight A student so she has been getting recruited hard from all the local schools. She got a 12k scholarship offer from NDSU and my father in law is a big bison fan. I asked her what she was going to tell him if he pushes for her to accept it. "I don't know, that I'm not a farmer. " Good girl

Edit: The really hilarious part jeh is that I absolutely know it because Wentz went to NDSU. My entire life in the God forsaken frozen hell there have been 4 teams the local network show Vikings, Chiefs and Packers. The 4th is Denver but usually a late game. So for an Indy game to be televised it's Wentz.

I looked at Thief River Falls from your profile. I spent about every fourth week in MN back in the 80’s but never got there. Brainerd appears to be closest.

I’ve been to ND (I’ve been to all 50)

The best thing I can remember from ND is they have nice dirt, just in case your daughter rethinks farming

Why Charlotte gets NE/LA Chargers, I can’t say. Nowhere near us, and not even NFC.

I'll assume you are south to be sitting on a beach. Please tell me you won't watch the game on a tiny iphone screen.

Southern end of NC, Sunset Beach

We will hike the beach in the am. The house is oceanfront so we can eat brunch on the deck and look at the beach. Watch the game just inside on a real tv. Then back to the beach.

For reasons I don’t understand, the house has an HDTV but the cable box is SD?

I'm old , but of course My folks are older. They bought a bunch of HDTV for their house, and didn't have them Hooked 2 HD. They were like the TV bigger, but it looks the same. LoL.

I’m thinking this is a cable converter problem. The cable comes into the house into a box about the size of 4 decks of cards. Then a regular cable comes out and goes into the TV “Antenna ” cable input. No HDMI cable from the box to the tv hdmi input. No hdmi output out of the box. So, is it just an old cheap box, or is this SD cable?

Cable in cable out and power. I’m on an island off the coast of North Carolina. Is it possible the still don’t have hdtv here? Maybe it hasn’t made it from inland?

Jeh most cable companies run Hi-def channels on their regular cable and newer tv's are able to pull them in without any extra equipment. These are channels like 64.3 or 64-3 depending on the brand of TV. The devious thing is they don't advertise what those channels are and try to sell a package where you get thier premium service and access to the same content just in an easier to find channel guide. If it's a rental property I'd ask if it was professionally installed. A lot of times DIY installs will use the wrong type of cable. I did that when I had direct TV 15 years ago the cable from the dish into the house was one type and then it switches to standard coaxial. I figured why waste time with that. Just run it straight to the box. Never got it to work, ran standard from box to outside and changed boom signal. Money grab I tell ya.

For all the crap I talk it wasn't a bad place to grow up it's just very boring at times and the weather makes for some tough people. Fargo and Grand Forks are like Michigan and Ohio State. Fargo is the biggest city and more prestigious football program but Grand Forks is the hockey mecca. Fargo kids don't like GF kids and GF kids hate Fargo kids. It's almost Browns/Steelers level lol

Then there is TRF God this town is tiny and we are becoming a company town too. However not a bad place to raise a family.

Exactly what I'm getting at. My folks use the old cable hook up. You have 2 have a different box , or see if the one You have has a HD hook up. Theirs did ....so I went and got them some HD cables and rehooked it up. They were like....ohhhh. LoL.

CRT TVs are pretty much useless relics now. I see them at landfill's electronic waste bins and sometimes on the side of the road. A good quality 4K 50" LED TV can be had for under $300. Amazing. 25 years ago... a 25" CRT was $500+
