I’ll admit it’s a good defense given the injuries and current league, just not good enough to steal games like in 2019

I still think we are around a .500 team at year end.

    Our schedule is brutal.

Steelers need to take down the Browns next, that would be very sweet that is for sure.

I'm still waiting to see a good 60 minute effort out of the Steelers this season.

True, but Ben will only practice twice in those two weeks. His bye week started at midnight and he won't practice for ten days. He will be as rusty after the bye as he has been before it.

The same Chargers that can't stop the run, and scored 6 points against the Ravens .

Man, 6-3 would be sweet heading to LA and I think it is not only possible but likely. Browns are all banged up right now.

Lions look really bad and we shouldn’t lose to them. We could easily lose to both Cleveland and Chicago. Cleveland if they are down Chubb and Baker is hurt too bad to be effective obviously makes that game more winnable. The O Line still might pound us with 3rd and 4th string RBs though.

Ravens like I said weeks ago are the best in the afc right now. Can't judge what they do against them as the standard to what they are.

Therefore they will play the exact same way at home vs. the Steelers? Is that what you're hanging your hat on?

Cleveland and Chicago both have DLs that could wreck our offense and turn Ben over multiple times. No win is "likely" at this point, let alone 3 in a row.

That's good then, it means that if the Steelers can protect the ball they have a 75% chance of winning the game. Ball security is key to this team in my opinion. Ben isn't getting better, he simply needs to use the experience that he has gained of 17 years and protect the ball, eat it if he has to or throw it into the cheap seats if nothing is there. Win the turnover battle and win games, this team isn't good enough to overcome turn overs and penalties.

I can’t even, it’s impossible to have a debate with people who refuse to criticize the team.

Chargers lose to a very good Ravens team, Steelers squeak by a bad Seattle team and somehow it’s absurd to think the Chargers will beat the Steelers? Seattle with Geno almost beat us but Herbert won’t? A much better QB then Ben at this point in their careers? And a far better QB than Geno? Whatever, if fans want to wave their pom-poms thats fine you just wont get a rational debate.

I mean, the entire reason for starting the thread, gloating over a 3-3 team in 3rd place...

A win is a win, but we didn't play winning football at all. We're very fortunate we were playing against Geno Smith. Russell Wilson would have destroyed us. Our offence is absolutely putrid and our defence just wasn't good enough, especially in the 2nd half.

We have seen what Ben can offer for 6 weeks now and it isn't nearly good enough. I believe either Rudolph or Haskins would be better. It would be hard to be worse.

It isn't right to hope pain was inflicted on the Stains players that could put them out of action for a while, but I don't care. I'd be different if they were out of playoff contention and hopelessly behind us in the division.

The entire team looked good in the first half vs. Seattle. Steelers haven't been able to put forth an entire 4 quarters of quality play. There's always 1 or 2 quarters of lackluster, sub-par play from offense and defense.

Pretty sure he does one day, half day, no day and has been doing that for awhile. I love how whenever there is miscommunication between a WR and Ben it is always assumed that the WR (who likely practiced all week) made the mistake and not Ben (who didn't).

Yet My friend with this same mentality...the ravens just squeezed by a Detroit team, and it took a bull$hit penalty, and wait for it....a 66 yard field goal. So ....people need 2 understand...they are all NFL teams.
A win is a win. Everyone gets paid.
Everyone acts like every game we played the Years we won a SB were all blowouts , against only teams with full rosters of starters.

Well when the Steelers were losing in the beginning of the season, is that why you thought they couldn't win three more games this season?

This thread isn't to be taken serious clueless, we had these threads last season when they started 11-0, not really gloating but since they started 1-3 getting back to 3-3 before the bye feels good.

That wasn't my point that the Chargers won't beat the Steelers, but they got hyped up as some great team too soon.

It wouldn't bother me if Mayfield landed on his injured shoulder again vs the Broncos on Thursday.
