Same here. So I suspect that, as it is in this case, that I will get most of the Steelers gams on the local TV channel. Usually only get 6 Steelers games or less a year where it seems like I have to use Direct TV. Those games however I still would go crazy not watching. If I go to a sports bar to watch it is more expensive anyways so I continue to purchase even though it jacks my bill up for 5 or 6 months a year.

Playing FF kind of evens it out being that I can watch any other games that I want to.

I dread the home games vs. NFC teams. Fox carries those games and my local Fox station is in the Titans/Panthers market.... so I'll have to find another way to stream those. Steelers have 3 home games this year vs. NFC... Seattle, Chicago and Detroit.

I picked Steelers to win vs. Bears and Lions, but Loss vs. Seahawks.

Thanks. My condo building already charges for basic DTV as part of my monthly assessment, so if I change I'm paying for two services. The $49/month for regular sunday ticket is the only extra I pay.

Like you said steel if the eagles are playing it may be blacked out. I HATE when that happens! To me it's just stupid of the NFL to black out games on other channels when the home team is playing and its an informercial about an air fryer or a new way to mop. OK, rant over...

I'd rather watch an air fryer infomercial than the Eagles.

If nobody bought the Sunday ticket, J. Jones would have to rethink his strategy of greed. :hehehe:

    I noticed I have a disagree from @Roonatic@Roonatic
It's my money and I'm fine with spending it. Besides even a broke dick homeless guy could afford the $200 to get it. It's like everything else in life, if it's important enough you'll figure out a way to get the money.

If you have the $$$$ you should spend them on what you enjoy. I would get it if I had to but the Steeler games are on 90% of the time where I live.

I carry around my flat screen attached 2 a bicycle generator, and sit and bike through the whole game.

Exactly. Every week during the season this thread is posted and someone is bitching that they don't get the game. Well boo hoo. There's plenty of options if you want to watch the game live. I prefer Sunday ticket because I just want to flip to the channel and watch the game. I don't need any interruptions or problems. Plus another thing you'll figure out is that half these guys here don't even watch the game yet come Monday they want to fire everyone cause we lost.

Same I tried the Local sports bar once, and it costs me way more...plus I couldn't watch the game the same...without being interrupted by people.

Ever seen these guys standing at the offramp of the highway? Even these guys could probably panhandle enough money to afford Sunday ticket.
For about $80 a month you can get a basic DIRECTV plan along with Sunday check it.
If you want it you’ll get it.

I know you are. No worries here. I just find it humorous each week when people are on here whining about not getting the game. If you want to get it you’ll get it.

Same here. Loved Sunday Ticket, and it was easily worth the extra $$$. HATED losing my TV signal in a hard rainstorm, and having to go outside at 11 PM with a snow broom on an extension pole to restore my signal when it was snowing. Gave up on DirecTV because of that kind of crap.

I loved Sunday Ticket for the 10+ years I had it. I didn't like AT&T's takeover though of DTV. Before AT&T, you could call in before the season and haggle as a long term customer and they'd either lower the price and/or throw in a bunch of freebies for a year. AT&T wouldn't budge an inch (my experience). I also realized I would put games on DVR pause while I tended to other things or waited for my Brother to drive 85 miles to watch the game with me. Now with Game Pass I just block out scores until the replay starts, 15-30 minutes after game ends, and then watch it straight through bypassing commercials, replays and halftime. Only thing I miss is joining this MB live and having to read a million "WTF's" during the real time game. :lolol:
