Not a good sign for certain. That said, six weeks away from the Steelers first game. Plenty of time to get ready and get healthy by then.

 

I was hearing he was looking pretty good.

Might as well cut both of them, IMO.

 

They need depth at RB still.

 

Yeah , thanks that is obvious but mostly anybody would be better than these 2.

 

I really haven't heard much about him this offseason. I think he's a good, multi-purpose hybrid RB. He's good in a lot of different looks, but not great at anything. I'd like to find a good use for him and have him contribute, but our offense is getting filled up with other playmakers. His opportunities are limited.

 

I an ready to move on from Samuels. In some sense he can do a lot of things but he doesn't do any of them particularly well.

 

Just resigned Tony Brooks-James, Snell must be a no go for HOF game.

 

Snell has been a no-show the last two practices.

 

thanks MD. first i have heard anything about him in camp so far.

 

Now THAT sounds like a productive practice. Build that foundation. Get these guys pissed off and ready to hit someone on another team.

Samuels needs to go, they will need a RB like Snell during the season.

Samuels has been solid in availability & can play at least 4 positions on offense. People expect him to hit the huddle with his afterburners on.

 

Ironic considering he was called the Swiss army knife. Or maybe the exact definition of one.

 

I'll trade my rusty, dull, swiss army knife with a missing scissor for a new one, please. JSam isn't a rusty, dull, scissorless all-purpose back. But the point is that he's not out-of-the-box sharp. Like I said, he's good at everything and great at nothing. Now that doesn't mean he's a waste of a roster spot. But if he's not used properly, he's of little use. Not really his fault.
