   ...no

Steelers are defending their title...& the Ravens need to EARN that respect. Just my opinion but that squad in Baltimore is almost always hype without the substance thanks to the Hairball. :beee:

what the eff o-line...Turner out, Finney out, Chuks out and Banner out. They are missing some valuable time. At least Dotson and Hassenpepper were back in pads, although somewhat limited.

I was expecting the start of the season to be rough because the OL needs time to gel. This could take longer than I had thought.

If they can't get through the soft early part of the schedule after Buffalo, they are going to have their pick of the litter in the 2022 QB draft.

Colbert out on the street looking for offensive lineman :hehehe:

Best they workout all the niks in camp but it does put a damper on development as a unit.

The struggle is real and it will effect in the regular season until said unit starts to gel. Its anyone's guess when that will happen.

The good news (from the reports I'm reading at Steelers Depot) is that the other position group in question, CB, is looking good. Sutton is having good battles with Claypool, and Pierre looks like he's taking a step.

    Expect Layne to get cut.

Looks like you closed the NFL door on Mason though. Haskins will be the more likely CFL player just like our other 1st round reject Lynch. History repeats itself possibly?

That's probably why they felt comfortable in releasing Nelson, they can play Pierre on the outside along with Sutton.

that's good in the early days that green, haeg, coward, moore and some others get seen. they will be our depth, whomever steps up. that is usually needed during the season. better now to find out then later. this first and second game mean very little so evaluate now.

Just saw a report in Pierre, comment said he looked like an Ike Taylor who can catch....if his steps take him that far we have a potential all pro in years to come.

What's up with TJ? I keep seeing links to stories about him not taking part in camp drills and stuff bit they are behind pay walls. Is this a "keep the wrapper" on him type thing? Is he hurt? I know they haven't had Tuitt doing much either which seems weird that two pillars of the defense aren't practicing but Ben is running sprints on the sideline as others work on drills.

Does Korza make any mention that those numbers might be skewed in favor of Haskins because he is an unknown factor for the staff and they want plenty of tape to evaluate him? It's very reminiscent of Jones barely getting reps or even preseason snaps the year Dobbs was drafted.

And we always still have Samuels to run the wildcat.

I agree Turtle. Why aren't these players better prepared for camp and the enormous
task at hand ahead of them. They need much work and should be busting their tails at camp.
They are the key to the season, c'mon MT light a fire under these guys. now get to work safely.

I know this was meant to be a Joke; but right now I no not see how Samuels makes the team.

I think I saw a chart with the number of carries per RB for Training camp and Samuels was sitting at 0.

Agreed. I can't see how he makes the team either. I like the guy and think he's got more value than most around here do. But right now, I don't know how he fits into the mix. What value does he bring to the roster spot? I think he'd be able to help another team more than us right now. And I think we'd help ourselves by using his roster spot elsewhere.

Contrary to the 11-0 start last year, the offense was never fully in sync. The first real game is going to dictate how the season will go.
