@SteelerGlenn you have to let someone else post about Marsh, so you can add your trademark Who?™

Just like @HeinzMustard has the trademark face palm.

Cassius Marsh thinks the Steelers are jerks for making this move.

i didn't see where he said that. we all know butler isn't big on playing rookies. so maybe roche will go to the PS. butler can't even remember roche's name. he said that guy in the 6th round. of course he didn't think james harrison was a legit starter at the time either.

Roche isn't going to the PS. Jesus, a couple weeks ago we were "fine " with Roche and Marsh, now you're exposing the draft pick to getting poached by another team?

considering his coach doesn't know who he is kind of says something about his pecking order. i was fine with who we had, evidently the DC, you know the one that doesn't get to call the defense, isn't fine with him. we will spend 4 million on a 30 year old backup but not bring in a LT. go figure. we also expose these draft picks every year that everyone panics about will be poached off our PS and rarely do they. if they wanted him so badly they would have drafted him most likely. you seem to worry about 3rd and 4th round draft picks not being good enough to play but a 6th round backup you are worried about now? interesting.

Reality is setting in that Marsh is probably gone isn’t it.

also we still may bring somebody else in to compete at LT. Be patient.

I like the signing. If he stays healthy and plays 65-70% of old normal self, its worth $4 million

You know Butler likes his pass rush fresh. he is a big on rotation at the OLB always has been.

Still don't think this will hurt Highsmith, or Roche getting into the mix of things.

Probably hurts Marsh more so, this is a tremendous upgrade over Marsh,

Should start over highsmith until they draft a talented OLB in a high round next year . Highsmith isn’t the guy. Dude stinks

That is a little Harsh. I thought Highsmith showed some flashes of being a good player last year. I think he should be even better in year 2.

I am wondering if Ingram wasn't brought in to compete with Highsmith though. Ingram is old, but if he comes in healthy and hungry he may very well be the better player.

The better and most productive player should start. I imagine they brought Ingram in to be depth.

Desperately needed depth there. Ingram is about the best we are going to get at this point. I just hope he is healthy.

Yeah. How anyone can say Highsmith stunk is beyond me. He didn't set the world on fire. But as a rookie I think he looked pretty good. I think he ends up taking a huge step forward this year. Ingram is most likely depth. I like that Highsmith has competition.

Ingram can play both sides, I expect him to spell both starters and obviously be the first in line in case of injury. But he's 32 and coming off a knee injury, and also didn't play 16 games the season before.
