    LOL.
I had to google who he was.

Team Year XPM XPA FGM FGA PTS
    Pittsburgh Steelers 1981 38 46 17 12 74
    Philadelphia Stars 1983 37 40 28 42 121[1]
    Philadelphia Stars 1984 49 53 26 40 127[2]
    Baltimore Stars 1985 38 39 22 34 104[3]
    Pittsburgh Steelers 1987 10 10 0 2 10

Although I must say he does have a couple of rings

OK so I'm early by 40 days - I thought it was Lloyd who sacked Manning against Indy in playoffs on way to SB XL but it was Joey Porter - [IMG] ;)

When you've been following a team for 2/3rds of a century, there's bound to be an occasional brain fart. Loved both of those guys. :thumbs up: But 86 still remains the only numbered Steelers jersey I've ever owned. :applaud:

I hope so but seriously doubt his words have any actions at all.

On a side note. You may not hear from me at the 2 week mark if you know either what or who I mean.

Not to rush matters, and not to be sacrilegious -but as we prepare for Saturday's feature - "92" days out - and setting aside all hard feelings about any of these players - what is the best Steeler playoff play of all time and why - noting that each player involved (not including the QB's) ended their careers elsewhere:

    1. Ben to Homes TD in SB XLIII?
    2. Harrison Pick 6 in SB XLIII?
    3. Franco's Immaculate Reception?
    4. Other?

I'm thinking it's #92's INT because without it, Ben to Holmes doesn't win SB XLIII and the importance is lost. The win put the Steelers at the top of the leader board as the first team with 6 SB wins at the time. And while the Immaculate Reception won that amazing game against the Raiders, the Steelers lost the next week to the Dolphins and their season ended.

I was more excited with the Ben to Holmes Mojave...the perfect climax.

Here are my top Steelers playoff plays:

    1. Immaculate Reception
    2. Harrison 100 yd. Int return
    3. Roethlisberger tackle vs. Indy
    4. Roethlisberger to Holmes catch
    5. Lambert kicking Cliff Harris' ass
    6. Franco's "gimme the ball" 22 yard TD
    7. the many other fantastic performances

Franco's catch. It was our first ever playoff win. This win was the start of our dynasty. Even though we lost the following week to the undefeated and eventual SB champs we stood toe to toe against the Dolphins and almost won that game also. This showed the league that the once lowly Steelers were no longer the S.O.S. (same old steelers).

Forgot about that one MT. That's another "but for" there's no SB XL nor 5 SB wins. Good pick. :thumbs up:
