We took the wrong guy.. Ben can not play the way that matches his style... Our OL can not block for a North and South 1 cut runner.. Maybe the new OC is prepared to run a muLtiple QB system Harris will be hurt early with the predictable delayed running game..Trust me I wish no player ill will esp. a Power RB , but it is what it is... Wrong QB Wrong scheme unless our new OC really brave...

Not the back I wanted, but glad they got their guy.

Harris is a huge improvement over what we have rostered. Let's bring in some lineman and we should have a much improved run game.

I agree with you. I hope that's not the case.

To use Harris properly, Ben can't play the way he wants to play. Ben better get his knees well enough to get under center.

You guys think drafting a non-explosive RB in the 1st rd is a good thing? It would be one thing if it was Etienne. I still wouldn't be happy but at least there's a chance that he can be special. Harris is slow and ran behind the best OL in college. How hard is that to figure out.

Why do you think he didn't run the 40 even though he was completely healthy? That was strategic. He hoped some team out there would give him the Jarvis Jones treatment and way over draft him even though he's an average athlete. You don't draft average athlete's in the 1st.

And what pisses me off the most is, they did this all to give Ben a chance at one last magical season. Which is never gonna happen.

Like the kid. Totally wrong pick.

Jags took Etienne one pick later. Granted it's Jax but we'll see who ends up better.

If some of y’all are going to say wrong back, or bad pick, how about letting us know who you’d have taken.

You were not saying this when Ben was handing off to Redman.

At least it's not as bad a reach as the Raiders taking Leatherwood when they did. Talk about a f*ck up franchise.

Or the OC knows Ben can't and don't hang Harris out to dry with a bunch of Shotgun delayed handoffs ..At the very least get a Center great at angle gun snaps let Harris just take the snap and go to the hole ..Him watching and waiting with his style and build will be very bad for all concerned..I hate it most for him if this occurs..

This whole aspect of him not being an explosive runner needs to stop. Jump cuts; sudden ones at that, take extreme levels of lateral explosive ability to even perform. That is not just the only reason though why Najee was the pick.

Najee has some of the best instincts in the entire class; by far and away at his position. Again, he is the classic example of a "Thinking Mans Back". He is not going to directly seek contact a la James Conner but find ways around it.

If anything, he is everything Jacob Jones is but supercharged.

Exactly and the zone style and the expecting of the Power RB to be find a hole style is exactly why he got lit up and none of my predictions for Redzone came true..Ben and our blocking took his career away.. He was a late to the party guy , but he was a true Power RB .. I hope Harris is not of the same mold with this QB and this scheme..

I am ready to start a movement.. Power RB'S Matter..

How is Harris going to run? When the O-line cannot run block.

My point is you said back then Redman needed to play more because the offense was built for his strengths.
