This is why I honestly think the Steelers should take 2 out of first 3 picks O Lineman.

    LT Banner
    LG Dotson
    C Hausenaur or BJ Finny
    RG Decastro
    RT Chuks

assuming Decastro continues to fall off a cliff that line is horrendous. Dotson is literally the only guy that has decent upside. Chuks and Banner we are hoping to be average if not slightly below. OLine has to be addressed early and often.

    Steelers suck at drafting CBs.

Lets just draft all O Lineman

    The two guards are set.

Finney should start the season at center unless they draft one or grab a FA

Chuks and Banner need improvement but as of now they are the starters.

Haug can play guard/ tackle and could be used as a tackle eligible

And for the rest of the list currently on the roster:

Anthony Coyle OT, John Leglue OT, Brandon Walton OT, Aviante Collins OT, JC Hassenauer C, Jarron Jones OL.

1st should go to hopefully landing Etienne then plan from there where O Line will be taken. So many needs.

sutton wasn't a bad pick. we have a new coach as well. they are pretty good at picking up DBs in free agencey and futures picks though. hilton, nelson, haden, pierre, williams, fitzpatrick.

Yea I was talking to my father yesterday and said I felt they should go 2 OL 1 RB first 3 picks but now a DB might be necessary in the top 3. We need a TE as well Ebron can’t block at all and is only an average receiver. Ugh this roster is depressing so many holes.

What are you talking about Mac? I know the projected lineman based on who’s on the roster now. You think it’s different? Like Glenn said we obviously have to wait for a final analysis until after the draft.

you never know until we see them play this year. we may have a draft pick at center. banner may be the LT or one of these others. we have seen PS guys promoted to the starting lineup for years now. i'm not setting anything in stone yet. they have a way of keeping guys around and them inserting them in as starters. feiler and AV were the latest two. there is a different blocking scheme and what player may not have looked great in the last one could look really good in this one.

It sucks that were going to lose Nelson. The Sutton signing made the decision. I'm sure they went to him and said they wanted to restructure his contract but i'm sure there wasn't enough beef to please the agent or Nelson. I'm sure he wanted to see a raise. Cap hit was extreme and Haden is the better CB.

So now with losing Hilton it looks like Pierre will man the slot? I have little faith that Layne will improve enough making future venting threads about him. Its a big year for this 3rd rounder to make a 180.

They will have to draft a DB (this always works out) somewhere or grab a scrap heap FA.

    Maybe Juju can play corner...

I don’t think Haden is the better CB anymore. Maybe 2 years ago. Haden has lost more than a step. He could fall off a cliff this year at his age and position.

Your logic is sound, but if we are plugging in rookies, my faith in the line isn’t swinging the needle much.

Pouncey and DeCastro are the only rookie OL's that hit the ground running in recent times. Both were 1st round picks and NFL ready. We'll be lucky to get 1 NFL ready O-lineman in the draft... and that's if one is selected in the 1st round. The rest will be projects.

Haden was still better in 2020. Look at the games he missed. Nelson was exposed in those games, especially against the Bills. He can't handle being the No. 1 cornerback. I know Diggs is great, but he made Nelson look completely helpless.

Take Leatherwood with the first ( unless Slater is there which is doubtful) then center/guard with round 2 or 3. The other top pick should be a running back or linebacker.

Drafting a corner will result in disappointment.

I hear Artie Burns is available to pick up.

Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert were both at Alabama's Pro Day today. No sighting of Adrian Klemm but I seriously doubt it matters too much. More than likely, Leatherwood is an option at 24 in the very least.

i've seen leatherwood dropping in the rankings. he's like the 5th ranked OT. 2nd round territory.

True, but you never know we could get a guy that turns in a pro bowl season. Or we may still get somebody it’s free agency or someone who gets cut by another team.

And an ILB. And a NT. And backups everywhere but WR, which they'll probably draft.
