The Pittsburgh Steelers are keeping general manager Kevin Colbert for at least one more season, the team announced on Monday.

The Steelers just announced via a press release that Colbert has signed a one-year contract extension with the team. The extension will keep him with Pittsburgh through at least the 2022 NFL Draft. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

It's always good to get Kevin back. One of these days he is going to retire and we will see a drop off in the talent he acquires yearly.

No question, the next GM will be a landmark hire and they better get it right.

While the signing is good..... the timing was DUMB..... come on man..... announce Colbert's extension on the first day of player free agency? I think it sends a horrible message to the group of free agents.... DUMB

Said he's going when Ben goes. I said that a couple of years ago. What I don't get is him doing one more draft in 2022 and then retiring. Shouldn't the new guy get to draft his players?

It'd be nice to pry Ozzie Newsome away from the Rats. He's no longer GM now, but part owner from what I understand.

Not yet, 17th I think he said. Some think it has to do with the HOF.
