Exactly what I was thinking. I really think Ben's knee is that bad.

I had visions of Cam Newton not diving on the ball in the Super Bowl. But he and Connor were both chasing it. I wondered if Connor was chasing behind him "I got it", but he couldn't even fall on it right. By that time Ben had no chance.

Well its something you have to manage. Maybe Ben is good enough to go under center a little more than he has?

Maybe he could do it 10-15 times a game? We really only seen him do it a handful of times this past year.

Great a Qb, not a rb, that can still run the ball...but can't throw , and has 2 times as many picks thrown as Tds( Cam that is )

I better get off of here. I'm just making myself pissed again, and I really don't like being pissed at anyone..Serves 0 purpose. Just hope the Steelers players & Coaches are as Pissed as I , and I know alot of you are.....I hope it sticks in their craw so they remember it for next playoffs.

The fact is this is a RPO league now and we have no athletic QBs we should have stolen Jackson from Baltimore instead of drafting Edmunds but now they can draft Malik Willis out of Liberty in late rounds if he doesn’t work out fine. He went undefeated a former Auburn recruit.

Maybe having Joe Namath in the broadcast opening was the universe’s way of suggesting Ben’s knee(s) will end his career...like Namath’s.

Maybe Ben could do a shorter shot gun set up, what do they call that ... pistol formation?

Then we wouldn't have to do those long drawn out runs out of shotgun.

After that Pouncey snap maybe Ben should line up in punt formation.

    Too soon???

They both failed. The ball should have been kicked thru the end zone.

Yeah, just kicking out would have changed the game dramatically!

We run RPOs...but everytime we do..we get a flag 4 offense lineman down the field....and 2 he¿¿ with L. Jackson....I need a Qb not a Rb that can throw. Their is a huge difference in a Qb that can run ,and a Running Qb. Don't believe we have ever seen a Running Qb win anything. Even S. Young..when he was a running Qb...on a great team couldn't win in the big time...now when he became a Qb that could run...things changed. If someone doesn't know the difference....well that I can't change....but I can give a hint...a Qb that can run can play any system.....a Running Qb you have 2 change your whole system 2 them.

When you throw the ball 40-50 times in most games, that's bound to happen.

Damn, this underachieving has even gotten to Mr. Perpetual Optimist. Just goes to show what a sh!tshow Tomlin's squad really is.

Once the rosters set for the season I’ll be back to my optimistic self.
I want Tomlin gone, but if they don’t let him go I’m not gonna ***** about it all season long.

Just the devil's advocate..he returns and the first game next year he has a season ending knee injury without being hit...then he says it has been bothering me for years...sound familiar? I am so mixed, you want that one last heroic run like Manning had...that run was this year and the magic ended way to soon.

Yeah, too bad we didn't have Cam or we would have had a QB known to dive onto fumbles.

I wanted Jackson, too, but then I saw how Baltimore completely changed their offense to fit him.

That wouldn't happen in Pittsburgh. He would have likely been benched by now for being a bad pocket passer.

You're killing me with this Liberty RB playing QB.
