Giving it some thought, sure Belli**** had Tom Brady but he seemed to have the ability to replace just about any player and get decent production from them. We don't seem to be able to do that.

Ben's knee. Did you not see the difference in his footwork during the losing streak up until halftime vs. Indy? I just wonder if he's largely recovered, or if they just gave him a pain shot at halftime vs. Indy.

And now that Brady is gone we are seeing the decline of a Bellicheat coached team. I was as surprised as anyone to be honest. Brady held that team together .. Clearly

Because Ben obviously is the best QB in the universe. So Ben should have 14 TD passes in the Browns game. If Mason can do it Ben should be about 33.5 million times better

I do understand why Steeler fans are feeling this way. People are confident that we played them so tough with our back ups that the starters will smoke them. Don't work that way and I do not share that confidence. I think the Browns have got themselves a decent Head Coach and he will have his team prepared. I'm telling you, on Sunday night we will be in a battle that will scare the hell out of us. Game goes down to final minute, you heard it here first.

Forget what I said about their Coach. Just read he is out.

I know I expected that team to collapse in a few years but not this quickly. Obviously Cam is a different type of QB but that system knowledge just isn't there.

Didn't they have like 8 starters opt out because of Covid?

yes there were eight.. correct. Should not matter though because BB is greatest of all time and he can take an pedigree and whip them into shape.

Wondered the same. I’m sure Ben has been resistant to getting any injections, unless I am mistaken, that’s not particularly good for your long term health?

Maybe but the interesting thing to note is that before Brady, Belichick was average at best.

Cortisone can work within 15 minutes, but some doctors and patients are reluctant to use it because overuse can cause long-term damage. Just saying.

I mentioned Cortisone in my response to Steel_Elvis's post. Yes, the side effects can cause some serious problems, though that usually only happens with repeated use. According to the Mayo Clinic, you should wait at least six weeks between injections, and then you can still only have three or four in a year. That said, there is often a temporary flare in pain before the drug helps, so that may not be the best thing for halftime of a game.

Give Tomlin that roster and he wins 2-3 games maybe and that's a huge reach. That roster before 8 players opted out was middle of the pack talent wise. The Pats have really overachieved vs their roster NAMES. The year they had Moss and went 16-0 was probably the best roster they have ever put together. They have 3 pro bowlers ( I know it does not mean s@*t but) a punter, Gilmore, and Slater for special teams (cause he makes it every year). We lost our franchise QB with a much better roster and won 8 games, 5 pro bowlers (legit ones not punters and special teamers). They went 7-9, 1 game worse than Mikey. Bellicheat has out coached Tomlin at every turn and is 100X the coach Tomlin can ever hope to be. I hate him as much as the next guy and I believe that the cheating helped him get where they got but he used it to his advantage, does not matter what we think there are no asterisks in the books and 6 Lombardi's sitting at Gillette.

The game hasn’t even been played yet and this thread is advocating the firing of the entire coaching staff once played, provided we lose. Can’t we all just take a deep breath until we see what transpires. So many negative threads here these days.

They did have EIGHT players opt out, 2 starters on each side of the ball! We had 0! I wouldn't bury Belicheat yet!

The only D in the league that did not give up a 30 point game all year. I get during the losing they looked worse, but did not get any help at all from the O. This D did give up some rushing yards (especially when Eli and AluALu were out), but this D is not the problem for this team.

Browns fans using the bengals game as a metric for beating us in the playoffs. I mean I get it, but right now they are more of a mess.

He took the Browns 2 the playoffs + he had a big time winning record since 2000 without Brady till this year....I know I'm gonna hear that I'm a hater , or some others such stuff, but Cam sucks...he had one aberration year. He's had like what...3 winning seasons in 9...and I believe a top 10 D..in almost every year. Is he a (or was ) a spectacular athlete yes...great QB no.
