It actually opened at Steelers -3 or -2.5 but that was before the Monday night debacle. Overnight Vegas froze the line and opened it back up at Colts -1.5 which it’s stayed at to this point. Color me shocked but boys the Ml is only Indy -125 meaning 125 bucks wins you 100 if the Colts just win outright. Of course you could give the 1.5 and only have to put up 110 to win 100 but if the Colts somehow only won by 1 you would be a loser.

Anything is possible in gambling and Phillip could always melt down and give the Steelers some points but man this is a close to a guarantee as I’ve ever seen with the line being so low. We will not be able to move the ball on a very good D.

This might be the last pounder of the year because Cleveland will probably be giving a touchdown or so next week which means you can’t ML it unless you want to put up huge chalk. And if you take the Browns giving 7 the Steelers could back door score and cover the spread. Same scenario in the playoff game whoever we are matched up against on the road.

So get to a book and get this play in. Think of it as a way to recoup all that XMas gift money!!

No I never put money on the Steelers because of the double whammy. But when things go like this towards the end of the year might as well make some money.

I deposit $300 every NFL/CFB season at Bookmaker and usually get bonus money so I start with $400 or so. You then have to roll it over 10x . Well I went bust 2 weeks ago and dropped my last $167 on Steelers +2 at Buf. So I am done for the season.

I will now not look at betting games until next year. I have successfully weaned my self of betting any MLB / Basketball / Futbol/ Boxing etc.

NHL sometimes calls my name but I have been strong last 2 years.

 

I bet a $100 to a coworker, which to me was a lot of money back then, that the Steeler would beat the Cowboys straight up. No points given. Confident in Neil O to pull thru. I recently moved to Cincinnati and met some great friends which I invited to my apartment. 11 Bengals fans, me and my girl, who couldn't care less about football. Steelers lost and I threw everyone out of my apartment immediately except for my girlfriend.

Never bet on professional football again to this day. Not just Steelers either.

I regret not betting on the Steelers before the season on their win total, Vegas had them them at 9.5 wins, I never got to the casino to bet that was easy money.

I had made 3 prior bets. Each time they won the game. Each time they failed to cover. I lost money betting on them snd I certainly wasn’t betting against my team.

Fair enough, but I have a feeling they stop the losing streak this week.

 

Few years back Jersey got sports betting. First thing I did was bet the under for the Pirates. It was an easy win and I had the thrill of picking up my winnings and lose it all within an hour on the crap tables.

 

California doesn't have sportsbooks, I did that online betting a long time ago, I'm not interested in doing that now.

 

When I said if you thought they can beat them I didn’t mean it like we had no chance, more of “I hope you’re right”.

 

Yeah the online books are tough I waited forever to get a local casino and now have one 10 mins from my house. Needless to say I just unloaded there this afternoon.
