Politics are involved, too. There is a belief in W.Pa. that Philadelphia has far too much political influence over the rest of state. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with it, but that's the general feeling.

 

So it sounds like it's more of the cities Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia thing than it is actually about the Eagles? That's obviously why I don't get it as I live in Canada. The Eagles have never meant anything to me, so the hatred always confused me a bit.

 

I don't know. I would think Lawrence would still prefer to play in New York than Jacksonville.
