The Ravens absolutely assault the ball every time they tackle the ball carrier. I know some players are better at it than others, but the Ravens are absolutely ridiculous at it. Every time they touch a ball carrier they're punching at the ball.

Our team needs to practice that far more often, because we don't do that nearly enough.

I can't do it. I have to cheer for the Browns. In fact, I want the Browns to smash the Ravens. The reality is I don't think we're getting the #1 spot anyway, so at this point I don't really care where we finish in the standings.

Both of these QBs are moving around.
That makes it so much harder on the D.

So, what the hell is Judon supposed to do? Mayfield has a free play. It is a continuing action, so he hits him in and gets flagged. This league really sucks at times.

The days of a true pocket passer, like a Peyton Manning, are over. Don't get me wrong, there will still be some, but the best QB's from now on are going to be the more mobile ones. They don't necessarily have to be like Jackson, but they at least have to be mobile enough to move around and take off when there's lots of green in front of them. The game is so fast now that QB's have to be mobile.

These roughing the passer calls are ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! The competitions committee definitely has to revisit what qualifies as roughing the passer...it's like you can't even hit the qb....why not just do two hand touch and their down??? If you're going to totally weak sauce the league you may as well go all out.

They're catering to the fantasy football crowd. The reality is that's where a lot of the money comes from. The younger generation aren't taking to sports as much as the previous generations did, but fantasy football keeps them interested and watching. Scoring and fantasy football go hand in hand, so the NFL needs the QB's to stay healthy to keep people interested and watching.

A lot of the previous generations watched their team(s) play and that was it. The fantasy football crowd will watch any game featuring their players. The NFL doesn't care how or why they get money, as long as it keeps coming in. High scoring games = ratings.

    It's never going to change.

Now I’m hoping Browns lose because of all those fans in the stands.

It is why younger fans are what old timers like me consider non traditional. They don't necessarily show loyalty to a team as much as individual star players. I did FF for a few years way back when it started, but I was too conflicted rooting against the Steelers, or for teams I didn't like. It was interesting at first, but I got bored with it. Much easier to just bet on the damn games.

A tie might makes us all happy. I hate both of these miserable clubs.

Browns look really good on Offense one moment, then just kind of fade out.

I do both. I bet a lot on sports, but I play fantasy football too. I don't think it has to conflict. For example, one of my players is Dobbins. I hope he gets me fantasy points (in theory, he's not starting for me so it doesn't actually matter), but I still want the Ravens to get blown out. I'm in 2 fantasy football leagues. They are both dynasty leagues so we keep all our players from year to year. The one is a big money league, the other is a small buy in and more for fun. It's just another form of gambling either way.

I would also never cheer against the Steelers. Steelers games comes first.

The Ravens have a good defence. The Browns look pretty good to me. They are a legit team right now.
