Online needs a lot of work, running game needs big boast. The play calling is so predictable. Now I know we didn’t get to 11-0 from lack of talent, we need to address some issues. We still have the Browns and Bills to deal with.

I would say the lack of elite talent just overall on the offensive end is the problem. Wouldnt say no run game. Kc run game isn't that good.

Too many injuries. Look at who all was out by the end of the game. There is a reason backups are backups and starters are starters. We have backups of backups playing at multiple positions. It hurts.

Super Bowl? They weren't ready for Washington. Hopefully the pressure of being undefeated gets their focus back. Lots of kinks to work out and time is getting short

Guess the ppl saying they were the worst undefeated team in history had a point.. There gonna be 1 and done if they don't get there **** together. Let Alex Smith throw for almost 300 yards and only had like 20 yards rushing. Yep not gonna work in the playoffs

Joey knows what the problem with the Steelers run game is:

    Our offensive line....

Our offensive line has been awesome in pass protection but we have rag dolls as RB's that can't run outside besides Conner.

I can see how everything will play out. We lose early in the playoffs. Ben informs the team that he’s thinking about retiring. JuJu goes in front of the camera and says

"Just today, sitting in the meetings [with] some of the older guys that don't get a chance, may never get a chance to play football again, it's disappointing for those guys, guys like Ben, he has done so much for me as a player. It hurt. It hurts."

The young guys convince Ben to come back for one more year and they win it all February 2022. Ben goes out a champion

I concur. Maybe we can work out our problems in time. Defense is still there for the most part.

Losing bud hurt, losing Spillane would be crippling, plus can’t lose Haden or nelson

Agree. Anyone talking SB at this point is dilusional. We'll be lucky if we can win 2 of last 4 sad to say.

I agree in the long run. Defense took a big hit when we lost Spillane. Haden & Nelson will be needed in the playoffs. Having Dupree would be better but i still think we can overcome him being out. Steelers didn't show any sign of letting up on the qb imo. A. Smith in my experience is pretty damn good with the blitz. His long ball is where he stumbles.

I heard Tomlin has been getting mad in the locker room for the over confidence of being undefeated. Hopefully, this does serve as the wakeup call they need.

Injuries killed us. The late season TOMLIN will be attributed to that.

Maybe its hopefully thinking, but I really think getting that first loss is going to be the wakeup call this team needs. Interviews were showing how cocky some of the players were getting, especially the young WRs. This is the NFL, nobody buys your hype and everyone wants to knock off the best team in the league.

Injuries will determine this season. I also think that Conner is much more valuable to this offense than some of you seem to think around here. The Steelers are a different running team with Conner back there. I don't think Conner is an elite RB by any means, but he's not nearly as bad as some around here like to paint him. Hopefully he returns for the Bills game and will give the offense some options.

I honestly think it has more to do with the guys getting cocky/over-confident. They may be 4-7 (now 5-7) but Washington is a solid squad that has continued to get better all year.

We need some of our defense to come back (those who can!), the offense to stop dropping the damn ball, and for James Conner to get back. JC isn't perfect but he's a whole hell of a lot better than Snell and McFarland at making something out of nothing.

They'll be fine. Beat the Bills, which is no small task, and everyone is on Pittsburgh's jock again.

I didn't see your post before publishing mine but I agree with every single bit of this. Conner's vision, especially in the receiving game, is super valuable. Our other RBs don't have that - just look at the game last night, Ben clearly went to receivers in times where he would just dump to the RB for extra yardage.

Yep...Bengals and maybe Colts games are winnable. Browns are peaking right now and Bills are just plain better.
