Just read where Ben is questionable for Washington game. Some possible knee related problem.

A week off might be just what the Doctor ordered for Ben. He's no longer young and his body has taken a beating. We need him healthy for the playoffs.

The game against Cincinnati would be the one for him to take a week. Especially considering it’s a Monday night game and they’ll be playing on a short week heading into their game with the Colts.

With that said if he can play he’s going to play.

The report also said to expect him to play.

I say his knee would have to fall off his leg for him to miss the game.

Wasn't Brady on the Pats injury list every week for, like, 40 years?

I'm thinking / guessing Cleveland is the game we're going to lose...Just a Hunch but, For arguments sake say we are undefeated heading into that last game...

And lets also also say KC has 2 losses.....We would HAVE to rest everybody! Even with chasing history and all. This would be Clevelands Super Bowl x 20, and they're good! And, Would beat us! Not only the rivalry, but they WILL be playing for seeding...

Even if we aren't undefeated, or have something to play for in that last game...I just have a feeling lol

Questionable tells me he plays. Also that’s me being optimistic. I really don’t think I have enough alcohol in the house for a Mason Rudolph start.

Only rest injured players. Colts would sit guys and not chase the undefeated record and I believe that’s a mistake.

1st, it’s demoralizing to the players, don’t fall for the lip service, they want that place in history and have fought their ass off during the regular season for it.

2nd, I’m of the belief that you keep your foot on the gas the whole way. Time off can make you rusty. In some ways, I dislike getting a bye in the playoffs for that reason but the positive of a shorter path to the SB outweighs that IMO.

Typical Roethlisberger theater. Give the media and fans something to freak out about. Sell the drama....rinse and repeat.

On the bright side..if he doesn't play and the steelers lose ,it'll give the haters less ammo to trash with. :)

Here we are, just like Denver, with no pro QBs on the roster if Ben is out.

Green font? Ben doesn’t write the injury report. He hasn’t said anything about his knees.

Nothing to worry about here. Young Mason can simply hand off to our power run game.

If Steelers just punt on 1st Down, it gives the Defense more opportunities to score.

Other than a major injury, I don't think Ben is missing a game after sitting all last year, he will just refuse to be benched :lolol:. But if he comes out during the game due to re-injury, I am wondering if Dobbs would be the better option. A lot more mobile with Chase Young bearing down and our o-line in its current state.
