Their fans are delusional, slack jawed dullards. All of their wins last season were absolute masterpieces, right?

I hope you're right. I didn't care for that pow-wow that took place on the field after the game. Everyone was hugging and glad-handing each other like it was a class reunion. No sense in it. If Goodell wants to be useful he does away with it for all teams going forward.

If recent history is anything to judge it by, the last short week turnaround they played inspired ball versus the Panthers with Watt sacking Newton in the endzone and VWill getting a gift pick 6 deep in Carolina's end of the field. I always thought the short prep week was good because it forced them to concentrate on the small things and not worry about new ideas and gameplans.

I'm not feeling too optimistic about this team right now. We can't run the ball at all and that's a big problem. We are just not good enough to be so one dimensional. We have the talent, but the coaches really need to spend a few weeks trying to come up with ways to fix the running game.

To be fair, the Steelers really need Conner back. They also need to trust the running game a little more. Snell had some nice runs tonight.

As ugly as that game turned out to be, I would still be a very happy Steelers fan right now if not for losing Dupree for the season.

That's the thing. They're going all Andy Reid lately.

But Andy Reid has weapons made for that offense.

We have very good players. But they're not exactly in that class. We NEED to have some kind of balance. But it's like we have 2 runs stopped short, and we give up even trying to run.

Can you imagine legitimate PA passes deep to Claypool, or Washington/Johnson, with Juju, Ebron and/or Johnson running underneath if needed? DEADLY! But you can't make that work if your opponent doesn't respect your willingness or ability to run.

They were dropping back 8 almost all day (and playing rather aggressive zone at that) because they knew we didn't even really want to run. You just can't make things that one dimensional for any NFL defense. Yeah, we got the win. But a better team will make us pay.

But as I've said before.............19-0 will mean nothing if they don't get that running game going. :smiley1:

I wondered at he players that spit on the field. I even saw one of them take off his mask and spit at his own feet. Shouldn't it be treated as bio-hazardous waste during the Covid days.

Certainly wouldn't have bet on that at the start of the season but long may it continue. 2020 has been a nightmare but hopefully 2021 brings us number 7 and better times for every Steelers fan:drinks:

Who is gonna jump off a bridge if we lose a regular season game? Every Steeler hater & a few board members will be asking for a cigarette...

Just handed the divisional champs a goose egg for 2020, nobody will care who suited up when reminiscing a few years from now. What will stand out is that the Steelers were getting the job of owning the AFCN done yet again. :dancing:

What a difference a year makes, in 2019 the Ravens looked unbeatable at 14-2, in 2020 they're 6-5 and fighting for a playoff spot . This year the Steelers claim their rightful place atop the division .

Not me. I don't expect them to go undefeated. But if they lose in a poor fashion, yeah, I'll be perturbed. ;)

And if they do go 16-0, they damned well better go 19-0. :stogie:

It's frustrating as hell but the Steelers dominated last night's game. Ben had a really solid game and the WRs and Ebron dropped 9-10 very catchable balls. A few easy conversions on drops and we're looking at 30-14.

My favorite part is all of the tweets saying Pittsburgh has NO chance against the Chiefs and will likely lose against WFT. Recency bias is a *****.

It's more the O-line than the RBs from what I'm seeing.

We never really been good at run blocking for the past 5 years or so but a good DD and bell hid that
