Bud Dupree - Initial report torn ACL

I blame dionte dropping that ball. Game would’ve been over

 

One thing, though. How the hell is it being reported by everyone other than the Steelers and local Pittsburgh sports outlet that DuPree's ACL is torn?

 

That, and have Stewart play CB.

 

Word gets around. Usually it is true, I pray it isn’t though.

You can always argue a bunch of different things. The Ravens probably would have gotten the ball back at some point and Dupree likely would have been on the field. You could just as easily blame the game being played today for it, but it was just horrible luck.

It is infuriating. Just once, I'd like to see the defense actually get through a season without a devastating injury. Now this unit has suffered two of them.

 

I'm pissed... everybody gets injuries,but God damn are we snakebit or what!

 

Losing Bush and Dupree is causing for the D. Just too much speed gone.

 

The local PGS just said the the NFL Network is reporting it. I know many of the local beat reporters have a good rapport with the Steelers organization. Ehh, I guess with these fancy ass phones and social media being what it is, it's not a stretch to think that other outlets would get it first. It'd be nice if they were wrong.

 

ugh.. last year it was the injuries on offense that did us in.. this year might be the defense that does us in.

 

Lol I still remember when heyward bey was on the colts and fooled the broncos on their 13-3 season with a reverse

 

What about #92 Adyenbi or something who wore Harrison’s number. He showed promise during preseason. His pass rushing seemed a bit more promising than Highsmith in limited action that I seem to recall.

 

Our DLine currently has more talent overall than LB group, maybe we do switch it up?

What happens if it is a partial tear, could Bud come back?

 

No worries, Maybe we can bring Harrison back!!

We’ve lost two of the most important players for our defense. Ugh.

 

Have they moved on from Chickillo or will he be back for depth?

 

Feel awful for Dupree. He'll bounce back somewhere next year.

We all realize Bud wasn't coming back next year. Highsmith was going to take over and here's his shot. Hope he makes the best of it. We will miss Bud.

 

They should keep it simple for him. Rush the quarterback.

 

I think Highsmith has shown more, but Ola will certainly see his snap counts go up.

I assume Elliott will get called up as well.

Agreed. Someone else mentioned Adenyi. He could be an option, too.

 

The next guys who will have shots are...Adenyi, Highsmith and Jayrone Elliott who was not dressed today.
