Ravens (half) week

Usually BBH post a thread for upcoming game but I think his old cat avatar ate him.

I don't think this rivalry is as mean as it was some years back but I'm scared ****less the Ravens may go a little over the top this game. I'm really worried about injuries. If, somehow we have decent lead in 4th quarter I want to see our man Mason in there. Ravens with their backs to the wall could throw everything they have at Ben and it may not be pretty.

 

Was thinking the same thing. I could see the Ravens getting dirty if the game isn’t going their way. Boys up front need to keep Ben clean.

 

I don't really think the Ravens play that way anymore. They aren't nasty like they used to be. Now the Bengals worry me. That is a truly dog **** organization with truly dog **** fans

 

Then knock their QB out.

 

for the rest of the way, i'm more afraid of injuries than I am of the ravens, colts, and bills. as hack has said, gimme the team that's entering the playoffs injury free and on a roll.

we could lose all the rest of our games and still make the playoffs.

 

Rudolph ain't seeing any playing time during this upcoming matchup. Ravens Steelers games are almost always decided by a TD or less. I doubt Thursday night will be any different.

 

We want Mahomes or whomever else here.

 

If the Steelers were in the NFC East they would have probably clinched the division title a week before Halloween.

 

I don't think you will see it dirty, but these games are always hard fought, even more so. This game is huge for the Ravens, for them to fall to 6-5 in a crowded AFC playoff picture would be awful for them.

Yes it's a short week but you have to treat it like a mini-bye week once it's over. Win or lose you got to give the guys some time off. When it's over Thursday night, get some rest before Wednesday rolls around.

 

I have like this feeling that NFC East is gonna get so much crap, whoever makes the playoffs for them pulls a 1st round upset and knocks out a good team.

One of the Ravens' message boards has a good/bad/ugly thread for the Titans. It's 12 pages long at this time. And not a single post has a good/bad/ugly list. It's all commentary with hand-wringing, doom and gloom, and who needs fired, from ownership to the ball boys. If we were in their position, it would be the same around here. But the fact that Jackson and Harbaugh and co. are facing this adversity is just wonderful. The Titans gave them a Henry-sized right cross that rocked them. We need to deliver the uppercut on Thanksgiving.

 

The old kick in the gonades if you will.

 

The way the raisins played the overtime, I think their gonads are in question.

 

Beating Baltimore come Thursday will be one less worry for us down the Stretch. Besides, if Indy and Los Vegas can both win on Sunday in addition to the Ravens losing to the Cowboys after Thanksgiving, the Ravens' Playoff Hopes will be in serious jeopardy.

 

they're still the ravens...…… these games are always a heavyweight slugfest...……. right now the ravens are a wounded animal, and there's nothing more dangerous...….. we need to come out hard and fast and keep them down

 

The steelers cant even clinch a playoff spot with a win vs the Ravens this week, let alone losing the rest of their games

 

Which is great for our boys, 1 less tough team to play us in the Super Bowl.

 

I believe he is just thinking 10-6 is going to be a Playoff spot in the AFC. Now if we were in the NFC East we could forfeit the last 6 games to rest up our players for the Super Bowl run.
