I saw this. Claypool has 500+ yards receiving and 9 TDs in 9 games. The other 2 WRs that made the list have more receiving yards but combined for 7 TDs between them.

Claypool has been great in the red zone, but Jefferson and Higgins have been more productive overall. I can't really argue with most of that Top 10. What I don't get is not even mentioning Claypool at all.

    Claypool also has rushing touchdowns.

He is also on a better team with a bunch of capable wideouts. Higgins is on a team that’s always throwing late in games with soft defenses.

Claypool should probably be in the bottom, at the very least. I think he'll shoot up the list over the next few weeks - he's about to go off now that Ben is hitting his stride.

Justin Herbert at # 1? Justin Herbert?? Another talent for the Chargers to ruin/trade!

What this tells me is that the Steelers are a good team. Other than the two Buccaneers, which I will credit to media bias, the rest of the players are on losing teams. Every player on the list except Gibson and Robinson was drafted ahead of Claypool.

Herbert is playing very well for a bad team. He probably does belong that high on the list.

Wirfs has stepped right in and helped stabilize what was a terrible offensive line. I can't really speak to Winfield other than to say I was a huge fan going into the draft.

All of that said, why would the media favor the Bucs over the Steelers? Sure, Brady draws some national interest, but even with him, that team doesn't have a following anywhere near that of the Steelers.

Brady and BA get the attention. BA being a 2 time coach of the year

The Steelers don't exactly lack for attention. Sorry, but the claim that the Bucs have two guys on the list due to media bias is just ridiculous.

Justin Jefferson has been a star out there so far. He absolutely deserves to be the top rookie WR. An argument definitely could be made for Claypool being ahead of Higgins, but he's been a little inconsistent away from the endzone. A big part of that is that Ben is spreading the ball around out there and there's other good options. Not his fault, but he hasn't quite shown what Jefferson has yet.

I would personally have him ahead of Higgins, but behind Jefferson. QB's are obviously going to get the top spots based on the importance of their position. After that, it's just too hard to compare positions. Is Claypool more important to the Steelers than Chase Young is to the skins, for example?

Yep. For some reason there's a lot of people on here that like to pretend the Steelers are victims. I don't get it. The Steelers are one of the gems of the league. The media generally love us. We get praised constantly. Even during down years the media talks about the Steelers way, our great ownership, etc. I have no idea what people are seeing.

Brady going to the Bucs was a big story, but overall, that story has faded to the back pages. The Steelers get far more attention than the Bucs do

Herbert should be higher than Jackson, otherwise, what's wrong with that list? Sure, you can make an argument that Kyler Murray should be ahead of Wilson, but the veteran is going to get the benefit of the doubt every time over a young player. Wilson was having an MVP season until the last 2 weeks. His cold streak won't last.

I have only once seen or heard something from Simms that made me think he might know what he is talking about, and that was his strong evaluation of Claypool.

This list is a joke. Roethlisberger should at least be in the top five.

The only rookies (non quarterbacks) to score 9 touchdowns through their first 9 games in NFL history are Jim Brown and Chase Claypool.

Any instance of media pundits downplaying the Steelers this year on a team or individual level is a good thing. Keep it coming.

Well, I think most people would consider Ben a top 10 QB.

Where are all the Steeler fans who were ready to mutiny on the fact the Steelers passed on Dobbins in the draft?

JK Dobbins 310yds and 2 Tds

I did not do much better; My guy Cam Akers has a whopping 186yds and 0 Tds so far in his rookie season.

Geez, I didn't even think about Ben. I was just mostly thinking about the order, not so much about who wasn't on the list
I'd put Ben at #6 and probably bump Jackson right off that list. I don't think he's been very good this year

Misleading though because Dobbins isn't getting much of an opportunity. Every time I've seen him play he's looked really good. I think he's a hell of a player, he's just in a really bad situation. Hairball likes Ingram and also like Gus Edwards.

I haven't seen Akers play this year, but I also liked him and still do. He just needs an opportunity.

These lists and rankings mean jack. Chris Simms doesn't have a say in the MVP balloting and ESPN doesn't have a say in either RoY category.

Read the Rats MB's, their fans really grind on Harbaugh for his commitment to Ingram over Dobbins.
