Yeah. I dont understand but it looks like there are very few holes the past couple games. Is it the lack of Munch or poor execution or as much as I hate to say it..the Line being out physicalled?

Mayne there are things on film where the Offence is tipping too much on a running play and the defenses is exploiting it?

How bout a running back that can make somebody miss, or break a tackle, or break a long run, or get the edge...

Our starter sure as hell shouldn't bounce anything outside.

Conner is in no way an elite back, but he is serviceable when given the opportunity. IDK if it is the play calling, the O line, or both, but when you hand the ball off to a back 7-10 yards behind the line and he is being hit behind the line someone is not doing the job...and that does not all fall on Conner. Out line is being pushed back at will sometimes...again is it purely their lack of effort? or is the play call to 'sophisticated' with no time to develop (and obviously being read by the D)? The few times they pulled the guard today it seemed to work.

Conner is a dancing bear. He keeps trying to bust something outside.

He needs to put his head down. Take the 2 to 3 yards. He is taking himself out of the game by putting the team behind the chains.

Definitely not all his fault.. but keep the 2 yards and eventually pop one..vs trying to pop one every carry.

He takes the long way around to get outside, and never makes it there.

Running out of the Shotgun almost exclusively doesn’t help matters either. And did they sign Derek Watt solely for Special Teams? Call me old fashioned but I’d like to see some i-Formation with their free agent pickup at Fullback. Especially in short yardage situations or when they have a commanding lead like they did today.

3 million is pretty expensive for a guy that just plays Special Teams. I don't think the OC knows how to use him.

This. Pulling the guard has always been successful with our run game. My suspicion is that the lack of Vanimal hurt us more this week, as Ebron has never been the best blocker. But at the same time, the playcalling was headscratching - just as with the Cowboys game.

I'm not a "blame the coaches" type, but I do think we could be doing more with the tools we have in the run game.

    I wouldn't want a redo on the 2020 draft.

The personnel along the offensive line are all good players. Decastro, Pouncey and Feiler is nearly as good an interior on paper as there is in the league, certainly well above average in any case.

Is there a coaching or scheme issue as much as anything else? We all feared a regression after Munchak departed. Is that what we are seeing? I’m not qualified to offer an opinion, I’m just asking the question. If that is the case I don’t think you can fix it in the draft, albeit with the age profile and contract status of the line I think they should certainly be looking there in the draft.

Although our O-line gets moved around, they protect Ben and that's the goal. I believe that with proper coaching and game planning, they could do what is required to secure a running game as well. I simply can't accept that the same five guys can do one job well and suck at the other.

Joking aside, you will probably see a lot of linemen drafted.

AL V- this could be his final year.
    Pouncey-Getting long in tooth.
    Fleir-is a FA
    Banner-is a FA

    Luckily they hit on Dotson

But, Steeelers need some drafted linemen going foward.
