Covid-19 hits the Steelers

Wonderful. After the league handed out fines to us. This is on our coach. The leading minority coach in covid fines.

Covid is making a comeback, nobody is exempt. Everyone is responsible.

 

It was a foregone conclusion that no team no matter how vigilant would have positive tests. It is how they handle it moving forward that will be remembered. Company I work for is seeing an uptick in cases and while they claim they are as transparent as possible it really isn't the case and they try to split hairs by claiming ppl not infected at work dont count against their total active cases. That's what stands out to me.

 

Yep, I believe in being responsible, but even with that no guarantees. It is one thing to be blatantly stupid, but honestly it is everywhere and unless you quarantine from the whole world you still are at risk, just a fact of 2020 life.

 

All we can do is mitigate risk by making smart decisions.

I`ll relax about this when the game starts and we don`t have players in quarantine. Potential for bad news Sunday morning IMO.

My brother in law was up doing some work on our car Halloween weekend then was sent home on Monday because he lost his sense of smell. He tested positive for Covid-19. My father in law felt really sick on Friday and got tested on Friday. He has some very severe health issues and his result came back positive last night. Wife and Stepdaughter are feeling unwell so they will be getting tested tomorrow. Our two youngest who spent a lot of time with their grandparents are going to be tested . I'm staring at at least a 3 day quarantine from work until I'm tested. Going to be an awesome week.

 

Thanks me too. Just goes to show no matter how vigilant you are this virus can still work its way into your life.
