It sounds impossible. It seems improbable. But is it really that far-fetched?

The schedule is favorable going forward. If we can sweep the Ravens I think the Steelers have a shot at it. The key is to stay healthy.

16-0 would be meaningless and heart wrenching unless you go 19-0.

All depends on injuries. We were down a defensive starter (and RT) coming into the game. If we lose 1-2 more starters on either side it’s hard to imagine we can go undefeated.
But its great to even be able to have this discussion after 7 games. A conversation we’ve never had before on a fan message board since they didn’t exist in 1978.

Stop with this, injuries and Covid-19 could be a factor down the stretch.

I'll settle for no more serious injuries. At least that way the Steelers will have a chance to win most games. Playing 500 ball or better for the remainder of the season and the Steelers are in the playoffs.

It’s possible. Depending on injuries we have a chance.

i'll take a 14-2 record followed by a 3-0 run in the post season. Let the Fins have their annual celebration and raise a toast. i'd rather have our guys raise the Lombardi

Looking at the schedule we play a terrible Cowboy team, followed by the Bungles and the Jags. Any given Sunday you never know what's going to happen. But the Steelers should be 10-0 before they face the Ravens again.

It's hard to believe but this could be that one season you always dream about as a fan. Even a 15-1 or 14-2 season would be quite impressive.

Yeah right. We gotta play the ****ty Cowboys, Bengals and Jaguars. Sure loss with one of those games in typical Tomlin fashion.

IDK. Assuming injuries to the D line are minor, I just dont see it. This team just has a different feel to it. I dont see a lapse in focus from this group.

Losing like they did would be literally heartbreaking! But weeks 17 through the AFCCG would be pretty amazing!

Imagine if we looked at marriage like a football season?

Getting focused on being undefeated can put too much pressure on players. I'd rather them get a loss out of the way toward the end of the season and not worry about having a perfect record, and instead play without the distraction of trying to be undefeated.

16 0 too much pressure. Besides they are not going to play starters in the last game if it is meaningless

If they stay healthy and focused they can get to a very good record with a relatively soft schedule, but 16-0 is too much to ask.

Even the best teams slip up, Raiders beat the Chiefs recently for example.

I do think this Steeler team has a toughness that wasn’t there in the past, almost a refusal to be beaten. Can they keep this up down the stretch? I hope so

If this team is 13-0 and clinched the #1 seed, I hope Tomlin plays all third stringers. If he didn't and say Ben got injured this board would implode on top of Tomlin.

As I said before when the Patriots went 16-0, all people remember is the Giants held up the SB trophy.

Do not write off teams that have nothing to lose. The Bengals defense isn't great but the offense is looking legit with Burrow so they could easily end up beating the Steelers. The cowboys are a hot mess but if the run defense is beginning to break down that could end up as a loss as well. The team has only one dominant win and struggled against teams with only one win so 16-0 isn't going to happen.

While 16-0 would be pretty cool, I'm a believer that a little bit of adversity is a good thing. Not sure I'd be comfortable cruising into the playoffs 16-0.

As somebody else said above, give me a healthy roster with an L
