Pats-Chiefs cancelled

Cam Newton with the virus.

 

Season will probably be cancelled soon. They can't keep bumping games back every time someone else tests positive.

 

They postpone that game because ONE Patriot player tests positive?? I know they're trying to deal with a serious illness but, this just feeds the theory that the Pats are "teacher's pet" I guess if Tom-Tom gets the 'rona, they'll just cancel the whole season!

 

If that happens they just hand Tom the SB trophy and award him the MVP.

 

Season isn’t gonna last

 

It’s just one player that tested positive late in the week. They need time to allow anyone he infected to test positive. They test daily because it takes bit for the virus to replicate enough to show up on the tests.

 

I'm guessing even Belichick wouldn't fake Newton's positive test.

But somehow I can still imagine the Pats waiting until the game is cancelled due to rescheduling problems (and not a forfeit), and then announcing that they found out Cam's test was a false positive.

 

Are you suggesting Bill has changed the fake camera men unis to medical staff unis who submit false test info? Really, you think Honest Bill would sink that low?

 

It's postponed, not canceled, and I'm guessing that if this had happened last week it would not have been a big deal, but on the wings of the Titans mess, I think they are erring on the side of caution. Plus there are multiple players on both the Chiefs and the Patriots with it according to MSN.
