Thank you for this. Very moving. I have never been a huge Ben fan but he has grown a man, a player, a person and a father and I give him respect that he's earned.

 

I hope he throws for 6K this year just to shut up the media naysayers like Jay Glazer and all those clowns. I think the offense really gets going this year.

 

Great video, and it puts to rest exactly when Ben injured his elbow.

I hope Ben does well this season. Honestly, this may be a great thing for Mason as well. It will be his opportunity to be a true #2 behind Ben and opportunity to learn and collaborate with Ben!

I remember as a young stud growing up in the Burgh, every time a Pittsburgh player would say good stuff that fired me up, I'd say that's it we are winning it all. Sadly grew old and realize that every player pretty much says positive things for every team.

Imagine them saying, "yeah I'm old but want my contract money and I'm going to pretty much suck this year."

To be honest that video fired me up too but been around long enough to know it can all go to ****.

 

You can still have the desire, the fire, the intent, the "want to", the proclaiming it's gonna happen.......but, your tired, beat up, aging, and surgically repaired body may think differently.....I'll wait and see, thank you.

 

I've heard the same thing every year. This year the offense will be spectacular always turns into underwhelming. And that was with an AB in his prime.

 

Agreed. I don't know what it is about Glazer, but I find him to be very irritating.

 

I wish him nothing but the best on the field and beyond.

 

Here's part two, by the way

 

With a surgically repaired elbow I want to see a majorly balanced attack. They have enough weapons to do so. I do fear his elbow wearing out if he tries to be a super hero. Of course their will be those games and they will have to rely on his arm but it can still be managed.

 

Any one else see real fear in his eyes when Ben was getting his stitches out? Like not about the pain but he was worried if the team doctor did something wrong that was it he was done.

 

I noticed that too.
During that scene, my wife said Ben was acting like a baby. I told her I thought Ben was nervous that the Dr. was going to screw it up. I've called Ben a lot of things over the years, but baby was never one of them.

 

I think he can be trusted and some of it was playing it up but there was concern as well. He was honestly worried about screwing something up.

 

Ben looked a lil nervous to me, beyond the joking around. I'll have to watch it again.
No disrespect to Dr Bradley, but if I'm Ben, the Dr who put in the stitches is going to be the Dr who takes out the stitches.

Ben says he will be shaking like a leaf Monday night.
