You are right! It is Methuselah Roethlisberger!

Three Heisman winners and combined have zero to show for it. Ben from a MAC school has two and won 15 games in a row rookie year. Kind of says something doesn't it?

Borrow will need reconstructive surgery by the fourth game, the dingleberry in Cleveland will be with Manzel by next year. Lamar will get run into the ground.

Lamar Jackson has been the talk of the league for 2 years, Pro Bowls, league MVP, record setting offense, has revolutionized the game of football. Oh and one more thing-has never won a playoff game.

Yeah, it says the Steelers defense and running game were really on point Ben's rookie year.

I know all of you would pick one the rookies over Ben if you had choice. We are talking today not yesteryear. Ben won one Super Bowl. He sucked in his first Super Bowl. Defense and running game won that Super Bowl. His 22.6 passer rating is the lowest in Super Bowl history by a winning quarterback. He threw two interceptions in the red zone, the second of which was returned for a Super Bowl-record 76 yards by Seattle's Kelly Herndon. Yeah, he was great as rookie! Thank you "D" and RBs. and OL run blocking. Fast Willie Parker to the rescue after the Da Bus gave him a tip. "Ben is on another level than these bums." Yes he is - down and out. They are on the way up and away to the future.

Roethlisberger carried the offense in the three playoff victories to get the Steelers to that first Super Bowl and he threw the winning touchdown in the final minute of the second one. Sure, he is on the back end of things now, but let's not fail to recognize what he has accomplished.

And when it counted? Choke? Gag? Fold? Actually all three. But once again since you miss the point. TODAY he is not that QB. These three may or may not be HOFers but I can't imagine anyone TODAY selecting Ben over any of these three ... well Baker is a bit of twit. They all have up side. Ben has downside.

I'm not missing the point at all. You wrote as if he was never any good and that simply isn't true. He came through when it counted many times, including Super Bowl XLIII.

No, he's not on that level now. Any team would rather have the young guys, though there is a very good chance he outplays all of them except Jackson this season.

Jackson is the only one you could make an argument for. I’ll take Ben over the other 2 all day. Burrows hasn’t played a snap and Baker was pretty bad last year.

Makes sense. Dalton will still be better than Burrow next year & someone already has called out Baker for what he is, a twit on the Browns QB timeline. Teams have another year on Lamar's tendencies although he is a handful.

Say what? When did Ben win 15 in a row in a season?

Ravens look to have had a good draft, they had a tonne of picks early on. They have a really talented and deep roster and will be tough to overcome in the division if LJ stays healthy. They are the clear front runner for the Division for me, and will be in the mix for the Conference, albeit they have pooped their pants in the playoffs two years running now so IDK.

Browns look to have genuinely addressed a lot of roster issues too, particularly the offensive line. They should have done that last year instead of trading for luxury players like Beckham, many of us including myself said that at the time. A lot depends on Baker. He can have absolutely no excuses now, they have put insane offensive talent around him and invested heavily in the line to protect him. If he can’t perform at a pro bowl level next season then when?

Cincinnati may now have the QB and are more talented than many give them credit for. Might be a year or two away though given they have had big roster churn and will have limited preseason time to prepare.

AFC North is arguably the most talented and toughest division now, I can see teams taking wins from each other. May be tough to get a WC spot from this Division.

    Wish football was starting tomorrow

I'm confused. All the draft "experts" for sure told me the Steelers would take a QB early. It's almost as if they had no idea what they were talking about.

I’d bet on him before any of those guys can and I’d win.

If I had only two years to win it all I would take Ben over all three. Baker is overrated, LJ can't throw his way to a win and Burrow hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL yet.

Lamar does give me concern as I said before. However, this league is not going to allow the likes of Lamar Jackson to run amok now that there is a full season of work at teams disposal. In addition, Pittsburgh would have beaten Baltimore had it not been for the likes of Earl Thomas III and JuJu Smith Schuster. Other than that game, Lamar definitely has opened up a new world of possibilities for Quarterbacks in general. That said, while his electrifying play making is undeniable, his ability to throw the football, while much better than his rookie season, is still not something to be entirely fearful of.

Baker already has reaffirmed what I said about him back during the 2018 NFL Draft; a good play maker with good arm talent, good instincts, maneuverability and accuracy to match but not too much else to write about. Baker has to be on the move to fully unlock his talents. While he is difficult to bring down given his ability to move in the pocket, he does not have nearly as much mobility as Lamar to do so. Add in his wild, reckless abandon both on and off the field and it is only a matter of time unless Baker can prove himself in 2020.

Joe Burrow is essentially a rich man's Andy Dalton. Not going any further as Andy Dalton has given me plenty of tape to imagine what Joe Burrow will be; good but not great. Even with Zach Taylor, I do not think Joe Burrow is going to be someone that shocks the NFL as so many others expect him to.

Overall, none of the Quarterbacks in the AFC North strike fear for me. Keep in I said the AFC North. Now, as for the AFC?! Patrick Mahomes AINEC. Transcendent arm talent with Andy Reid at the controls and weapons galore?! Kansas City is going to be an issue for a while as problems can be solved. Patrick Mahomes alone is an issue.
