    Anyway, one thing I agree with @Stone@Stone about is that we should probably halt the part of this discussion that goes beyond football. So let's let it cool down a bit. I think folks have adequately expressed views from the different camps on what's happening.

    It’s been ruled out some time ago that it wasn’t some sort of bio weapon. We know it came from a animal (bat) but that doesn’t mean it still didn’t escape from the lab.You know the one that was specifically testing those very same viruses. The WHO seems to be about a week slow on their responses including the 6:days they waited to admit it was transmitted from human to human. China knew as such maybe going back to November. Their ties with China especially the head jack ass of the WHO is well documented.

    Yup and people are actually complaining we halted their funding. No just give them another 900 million for the next 2 years. Maybe they’ll get lucky and only half the people will die next time.

    The WHO was a great band! And while they suck at managing pandemics, they have proven to be pretty darn good at covering them up. They fooled roughly half of the US population:hehehe:

    I'd rather fund them, but as a condition of the funding, and in acknowledgement that we're a primary funding source, mandate that we have a strong US presence on their board (including the chair), and medical auditors within the organization. Having an international organization is valuable in this space, but it needs to be a responsible and competently-led international organization.

    Some want to play on words because they can't quite think for themselves and they were told what to think so they have to spin things and twist things so that it's comforting in their head. Nothing that exists in nature is "created" in a lab, synthetic things are, but nothing natural. Now the mutation of a virus being taken from an animal and played with, and introduced into people, is not technically "creating" it in a lab but the point is becoming more and more accepted that China "played with" this virus for their own reasons and it got away from them.......and what a field day for our media!

    Just think about those 20 million a year contracts for one player to play a position let alone 50+ and then think about you $8 beer sitting in a tourist trap watching the game.
