Watt is the Steelers' best player this season. Despite AQL's claim, it is not at all hasty to make such a claim, especially because it only refers to this season. It doesn't mean Watt is better than Fitzpatrick or any other current Steeler for all time. It just means he is better in 2019.

Fitzpatrick is the second-best player. His impact was inflated because the position was such a disaster before he arrived, but he's still right there behind Watt.

He's referring to '95 superbowl qb. Those were dark times. He played like rudolph and duck in the superbowl

Not on the field as in their actions. Although Woodson and Bell is the same, money. Woodson claimed the Raiders for like a decade and is just trying to weasel his way back into Steelers Nation the last few years.

Steelers weren't signing any big Free Agents in 1997. We lost Chad Brown and Rod Woodson that year. Lost Carnell Lake the following year. Jaguars and Titans were gobbling up all of the FAs thanks to their shiny new stadiums.

My issue with Woodson is he waited a decade to run back to the Steelers after the Raiders announced they were moving. Woodson and many other players could be great advocates for sometimes it's worth taking a little less to remain with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Rod Woodson doesn't have to weasel himself back to the steelers. If I recall, Woodson tore his knee up against Barry Sanders, when his cleat got caught in the turf. Cowher, kept him on the active list the whole season and woodson ended up playing in the superbowl ... Without being fully recovered. The Steelers didnt want to pay him top $$ because of the injury. And, remember, he wasn't just our cb... but, he was punt returner and coach on the field. The guy was smart and athlectic. He played for sf, ravens, and finally Oakland ... I believe at the safety position. Then, after retirement, did some interm work the steelers. But, the steelers wouldn't bring him aboard, as a db coach. (Just like k.greene or Ward). Look, this guy is a HOFer and that gold jacket wasn't given to him ... Mr. Woodson athletic. I was proud that he even included the Steelers in his hof speech. It's disrespectful to even type what you did. Apologize, and all will be forgiven from steelersnation old heads

I'm just speaking on what I know. Growing up I remember him as a Raven/Raider. Post retirement the same. Never saw him around the Steelers until a few years ago.

Woodson's exit was nothing like Bell's. He didn't screw the team by sitting out an entire season. He didn't make ridiculous demands, like wanting to be paid for being a receiver and a running back, but wanting fewer touches. He didn't make an ass of himself publicly, though to be fair, social media wasn't the same then.
