14-14 now, Texans and Titans. Absolutely horrible unnecessary roughness call on Houston aided the Titans tying drive.

Too many of these types of calls are affecting outcomes. Defenders need to be able to make hits.

Steelers have some room for error now that Houston won today over Tenn. Nevertheless, let’s take care of business at home tonight against Buffalo and place ourselves in the drivers seat

One never knows. 9-7 could still sit at home. Unless you are in the NFC East where 8-8 could win it.

I wanted Tennessee to win-now Houston likely has it wrapped up next week with a likely win and likely TN loss, and won't have much if at all incentive in week 17 to beat the Titans again. Steelers are going to need to be 10-6 to make it, I am pretty sure.

100% agree!! Somehow have to go 2-1. Hell we went 7-1 after 1-4 start so why the hell not.

I feel, should we win tonight this board will have a ton of post how Tomlin lead Steelers always lose to an inferior team at least once a season. I am a huge pessimist when it comes to Pittsburgh sports but if we win tonight I really believe Tomlin does not have that traditional let down and we beat the Jets. (of course Le'von Bell will have his first 100 yard game since leaving us:))

Steelers are, and will remain in the drivers seat as long as they continue to take care of their own business.

A win tonight and the Steelers move to 9-5 overall and 7-3 in the AFC and would own the tiebreaker head to head over the Bills. And with the Titans losing today and dropping to 8-6 overall and 6-5 in the AFC the Steelers winning this game tonight would almost make them as close to a lock as possible for making the playoffs. A ton would have to happen for them not to go get in if they win this game tonight.

Browns are getting humiliated in Arizona which basically ends their season. Great to see

they were technically still in it until this evening

That was amusing, but all that really matters right now is what the Steelers do. Two victories in the final three games would give them a good shot, but I'd feel a hell of a lot better about their chances if they can pull of this one tonight. It is their last home game and they might feel some real pressure for the first time in a while if they need to win the final two.

With the Titans loss today, A Steelers win tonight vs the Bills and a win next week vs the Jets will clinch a playoff spot.. week #17 will be meaningless

With both the Raiders and Browns losing today to fall to 6-8 if the Steelers win tonight against the Bills the only way they would not make the playoffs even if they would lose their last 2 games to both the Jets and Ravens on the road is if the Titans win their final 2 games against the Saints and Texans and I just don’t see that happening. Their is no scenario now if the Steelers beat the Bills tonight that the Titans can finish ahead of the Steelers if they both finish 9-7. So win this game tonight pretty much and the playoffs are essentially a mortal lock for all practical purposes. You don’t want to lose tonight and still risk having to win both of these last two games against the Jets and Ravens on the road and not getting in the playoffs over Tennessee over a stupid tiebreaker like strength of victory. Handle your business tonight and nail down a playoff spot period.

I was watching that play on the red zone and it was very confusing. Was the call helmet to helmet or defenseless receiver?

You know, I actually can’t remember. It was just a terrible call, regardless of what they labelled it. Text book hit to knock the ball loose.
