I think he got very lucky. That TD at the end of the half was a gift. Juju made a few contested catches. One broke up an interception.

I saw a bunch of bad throws,rainbow jump balls, and a handful of good throws. He's playing lawn darts out there. He got away with that noodle arm rainbow crap in college but that's not going to cut it here. They'll have to go four, 6'7 TE's, and just throw floating fade routes all game.

I'm pulling for the kid this year, but I hope they shoot a little higher moving forward after Ben.

So maybe Edmunds was a fumble machine in practice this week and Tomlin didn’t trust him? Maybe Tomlin is a bonehead? I can offer up an opinion, but I really don’t know all the facts to be taking a hard stance and make complete fool of myself.

 

I agree that he wasn't as good as his numbers tonight. It wasn't the arc on the deep balls that bothered me as much as the lack of accuracy. He threw too many balls behind receivers. Even the touchdown to Smith-Schuster was underthrown a little. The defender actually had it in his hands until Smith-Schuster stole it away.

 

That would be an interesting option for sure
