    Too bad Minkah couldn't have just batted that down, probably would have ended up with better field position. But players just don't have that instinct, they always want to make a play, which I completely get. nice grab by him

    In theory yes, but you never know what might happen on a punt. Return guy could fumble it, Miami could run a fake and get it, you have an opportunity to guarantee the ball, you do it.
