My concern was how quickly Mason could adapt to the NFL after coming out the Big XII. He has the mental toughness, leadership and desire you look for in a Quarterback. So far, he clearly has some ways to go but he is improving.

Two things. Steelers played much better since being loudly booed. Maybe that motivated.
Mason's passes are mostly behind his receivers. I wonder if he is not used to the speed of the game and in practice they are going 3/4 speed. Once he adjusts for that, maybe that will help.

Think it is safe to say what me and Mac Daddyo will likely come into fruition come the 2020 NFL Draft. This Interior Offensive Line is getting long in the tooth. Namely Ramon but hopefully B.J. will finally get his chance. Regarding Maurkice, I would start looking for his heir apparent.


Some good Centers coming up in the draft next season. Tyler Biadasz or Creed Humphrey would be my personal choices. Both are plug and play from the get go.

The Offense Pass interference call that hit the WR in stride down the sideline.
