Yeah I don’t know how you replace a HOF OL and one of the best OL coaches in the league and not have some sort of regression. Could be tactical and adjustment like you said but it could also be respect and consequences...

Well, there's some good news... not. He was never a killer B, they wanted to make him feel good. Kinda like employee of the month.

Wanted them to sign Bell long-term myself but he was asking for too much.

Any news on who is getting reps with the first team at RB this week?

I bet Fichtner did not have a clue last game that Samuels did not have a single carry last week. Bad coaching IMHO.

My God man he made the Pro bowl last year.
Granted JC has made some bad plays with fumbles.
He needs to get a seat for awhile to think about these fumbles,
so yes Jalen should get a chance as should Snell.

Teams are loading the box because they know the Steelers don’t want to throw and the OL is not playing well. Very hard for Conner to do anything under those circumstances. No running back would get big yards in this team right now.

The fumble was bad and it’s a bit of a habit with him unfortunately. I’d be very careful about giving him a second contract tbh.

I know it's hard to compare players but I see guys like Dalvin Cook, Kamara, or many other guys and I see an explosion that allows these guys to create for themselves and turn not much into something . We don't have anybody like that .

One of the easier positions to plug & play with young cheaper talent.

Pro bowl is voted on. He was a product of steelers fans hyping him up because of leveon and that whole situation. Conner is an average nfl starting RB.

I doubt if we had saquon, zeke, Kamara, or a few others they wouldnt get yards.

The problem is the line , simple as that !
Say Conner is average at best all you want , but put him behind a dominant line and he’d be better , It’s the line !A great back behind this line becomes , eh , not so great

One of the most surprising things I saw this past offseason was that Connor was named one of the top 100 players of 2019 by the NFL players. I think he was in the 60’s. That’s player voting, not fan voting. I think it’s nuts, but it shows that he is respected by his peers.

That's not close to being fair or correct. Fichtner's offensive game plans and play calling have brought the O to it's knees and it wouldn't matter who was toting the rock.
