Conner has been completely worthless these first 3 games. I know he is fighting through an injury, so that may be hampering his ability, but right now he is a liability on the field.

Jaylen Samuels did not have a single touch against the 49ers!!!

It is time to sit Connor and see what someone else can do.

If your starting running back is struggling with and injury (what injury exactly???) and you still play him and NOT the reliable back up at all then isn't that far more on Tomlin and the coaches than the injured player? I mean, he's injured.

I was almost ready to trade Ben to Tampa after the first game until he got hurt. And they say he's been hurt.

Honestly Conner hasn't done much since the beginning of last year. And that fumble was shades of the cleveland game that ended in the tie.

I like Conner, great story of course. I’m not sure he has great instincts as a RB. He runs hard and breaks tackles but he might not be a pure RB. He’d be excellent in a more potent rotation but Samuels most likely isn’t the clear answer either. Like I said in the game thread this O might benefit greatly with a change of pace back that can test the perimeter of the defense. Our RBs are too similar and don’t require much game planning against them....IMO

This looks more like Vance M. than it does the RB's.

They said we'd have more of a RBBC this year. They lied. Stupid is as stupid does.

Connor just isn't very good. Reminds me Redman He was loved and had some productive games, but he also wasn't very good and didn't last long.

I just wish the team had paid Bell. It's not like he was asking for unreasonable amounts, he just wanted so much of it to be guaranteed. We just don't have many playmakers on offence. When you have one of the best talents in the league, you do what you have to do to keep him

The way this OL is currently playing we would need Barry Sanders to make something out of nothing

I was surprised Samuels didn't get any carries, or catch passes out of the backfield. Snell got a couple of carries

Every little bit helps. Bell could make people miss. Plus he was such a dangerous receiver that teams had to respect that fact.

I like LB as a player but his performance so far with Jets is what you would expect from running behind a a sub par OL, which is how ours is playing right now. The game is still won in the trenches and our OLs performance is a huge factor in our struggles. I think it may take some time. We’ve been playing for years with exceptional talent on O not having much
structure. MR needs a structured offense so there will be a adjustment period for everyone on offense.

Offensive line regressed tons this year. They are soft inside and out. Receivers can’t get separation.

Bad O-line +nobody open/subpar RB = lucky to even score these past 2 weeks

Poor mason thrown in a regressing bad team. Defense is pretty good but butler holding them back

It's essentially the exact same Oline as last year, and the last several years.
I wonder what has changed...hmmmm....can't put my finger on what is different....;+)

No more killer B's. Now we have Barry, Barron, and Bob the equipment manager.
