He's so inconsistent. We should trade him and Dud Dupree for someone. Anyone...

No one is trading anything of real value for those guys. I’m not sure where people get the idea they have some real trade value.

We’re already thin at OLB with injuries. Can’t afford to get rid of Bud.

He's really fragile. And there is no hope beyond him.

He's a beast, but this part of him was his MO in SF.

This is FO's handling of the TE position over the past year has been odd to say the least

Jesse James walks. He wants too much money. Fine, I get that.

So, we roll with an injury prone Vance McDonald, a guy that bounced around from training camps in Xavier Grimble, and a redshirt project in Zach Gentry.

Colbert should have called around after preseason and made a trade.

Everyone knew we should bring in another TE before week 1 and they never did.

    Colbert and Tomlin fail!

TE and FS were huge question marks leading up to the draft and into camp. They finally addressed FS apparently ( if they let him play there). Neglecting TE is coming back to haunt them and will have to be addressed early in the coming draft.

We couldnt trade Dupree for a six pack of warm Old Milwaukee. Im being serious. No team is going to take him at his cap hit even if we offered him for no compensation.

He is always hurt, can't help the team from the training room.
    When does his contract End?

I would have to go back through every round to see how maybe they could of drafted a more polished TE. FA was a possible option as well. The bottom line is they knew they had a fragile starter and his back ups were sub par and the end result is the starter is hurt....again and the back ups are sub par, which we already knew.

Plenty of us were talking about it all off season as a glaring weakness and the bottom line is it wasn’t properly addressed...

Time for Gentry to grow up fast. Start him now and learn as he goes.
