Can someone explain this?

    HAHA. I thought the same thing. I forgot about the safety and was sure the game was on some sort of delay. I was sure we would make the 2 point conversion because of that and when we failed I was confused for awhile.

    Good sign. The defense had to spot the offense the lead before the O got going.:cool:

    Even if the Steelers kicked the FG's they could had loss the game. So going for 2 didn't cost the Steelers the game as you suggested.

    Neither team had a huge lead in the game. I don't believe the dynamics of the game changed unless there was an injury.

    In general coaches make decisions based on their "gut feelings". So what if Tomlin made the decision to go for 2 based on his "gut". That doesn't make him any less of a coach. IMO going for 2 early in the game seemed like it was more of a trial and error type of circumstance.

    I can't believe you want to take issue and hold a grudge with something that happened in 2016. A year in which the Steelers made it to the AFCCG. Some people are really strange.
