I’m good with Harrison. Players only have a limited time to play. He was able to do so last year and the coaches didn’t take advantage of it. Playing a series or two during the games or even just a few snaps would’ve been better for the starters. But, this isn’t about last year. James was an important player on this team for a long time and contributed to great success.

He was asked some questions, he answered them honestly. There’s been a lot worse said on this board.

Disagree. They gave JH a game and he couldn't hold the edge. Watt wasn't out of shape, it was Heyward.

Harrison isn't wrong. I also have a hard time getting too angry with him for leaving. The coaching staff screwed the pooch on not playing him more when he was clearly the better player than who we were trotting out. Just another not-so-great notch in our coaching staff's belt. That said, going to New England? That's almost unforgivable.

Screw Harrison, punk ran to New England to piggy back a SB ring, I'm glad he lost.

I see your disagree and raise you a disagree. :smiley1:

I wasn’t suggesting Watt was out of shape, but he most certainly had hit the wall rookies do. Watt was horrible in that last game. I think an
    Old James would have helped.

    Water under the bridge.

Harrison was selfish and caused turmoil with his antics. We are trying to win games and he had to be a huge distraction sleeping in meetings and skipping practice.
I could only imagine what kind of challenges the coaching staff were facing. Hard to have accountability with the players when one of them is getting away with the B.S Harrison was pulling.
He’s a Jagoff who hurt the team in my opinion.

I'm not a hater. He was one of my favorite players but he made a horrible decision. 4 games with the enemy wasn't worth it. Troy and Hines made the right decisions. We can't let Harrison slide or this will become the standard. He's a traitor and needs to be treated as such.

I see the standard isn't the standard with you. You close your eyes and pick out of a hat on who to be mad at.

Nope. He can never be apart of the Steelers family again after putting on that Cheatriots jersey. Trying to help them tie us in Super Bowls. Finding out he was sleeping in meetings and driving to games on his own. Not going to visit Shazier with the LB group. Still being a distraction in retirement and starting ****.

Love me some James Harrison no matter how many fans hate him or how much the media brainwashed y’all. Not many guys could pull off a play like he did to help us win a super bowl.

I agree. Obviously the NE thing isn't the greatest look but he went to where he was wanted and thought he had a chance for a ring. These people kill me with their hatred. What would you have done playing your last season being lied to and just looking for one more chance to achieve the ultimate goal. That is winning a championship. What was he supposed to do just go quietly into retirement. He wanted to play. He wanted to win. For all those who thought it would tarnish his legacy.....guess what? He was aalready invited back this year.
All the greatness he provided for this team and people are focusing on a bad decision that many of here would of also made if they had a desire to compete and win and if you say you wouldn't of done the same. You obviously never competed at a high enough level. Maybe if I'm playing 40+ yr old softball I make a different decision. Not at the highest level....sorry NO!

Yes sleeping in meetings is a immature action but no one really knows exactly what was going on just rumor and hearsay. To blame Harrison for the lack of accountability from the coaches isn't justified. He was better than Dupree last year plain and simple....
