If the Steelers don't shoot themselves in the foot, they're a top 5 team in football. That's no secret. They literally only lose because of themselves, it's insane.

 

I have a feeling that this off season, there will be changes. Major changes hopefully, not rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, like last off season.

 

My feeling is, if the Steelers' starters are in the game (all of them), they are a top 5 team.

But if there are any injuries or substitutions, that drops off quickly.
(And with their practices almost ignoring the non-starters, the drop off is even more.)
Even though Gilbert's subs are doing well, I suspect the run game would be better with Gilbert not missing half the games.

Playoffs? Scenarios? How about they win a game! They just lost to a 2 win team and gave them their 3rd win after coming off back to back losses and just lucky to win against the jags. A losing slide now playing this Sunday against arguably the biggest Steeler killer. Then to Orleans. And if you think the bungles are going to lay down think again. They absolutely need to win against the cheats. They lose this one and it's fold up shop time.

But all is not lost, big changes on defense, they have Artie Burns coming in to save the day

 

IMO, the only way I see Tomlin goes away is if they lose out (6 in a row) and Rooneys give him a package deal to leave so that Tomlin can say he is resigning. This will save face for all parties involved and keep the PC clouds away from the Pittsburgh city limits. To avoid all of this, the team just needs to execute to their potential and get into the dance and at least be competitive.

 

They arent going to the playoffs, before we played the raiders we all pretty much concurred that if they lost that game their playoff hopes were over, now you all are talking about beating the cheats and after they lose this game you all will be talking about beating the saints, at some point you just have to say obviously they are out of the playoffs with this sh#### record.....
