I've gotta ask: whose brilliant idea was it to snap the ball with over 15 seconds left on the play clock, and the game clock running? Were they aware of the fact Denver would've gotten the ball back with more time? Also, running a play before the two minute warning? Like am I the only one shaking my head?

Run it on 1st and make them burn timeout or let clock run. Then if at 2 < run or you have 3 downs to pass.

This is seperate from why we loss. But the clock management was atrocious. You know damm well that snapping the ball with over 15 seconds on the play clock is idiotic. Denver gets the ball back with more time. You bleed as much clock as possible.

Offense had almost 600 yards.....you can't have unforced error turnovers. Heck one of our TD's was a damn fake FG. We just make too many mistakes. Most penalized special team in the league. Our red zone has made huge improvements. Ben got lucky last week with the endzone pick, and it balanced out today.
Honestly, we are lucky to be 4 seed. We just don't have "it". Romo calling us balanced. I believe we have improved. We don't seem to have an urgency from the opening kickoff.

Even if we did make it through the AFC, I don't have much faith in beating Saints or Rams in a dome in Atlanta.

The AFC Championship will be Chiefs vs NE......we all know it....who are we kidding.....

What if the Steelers thought they had favorable match ups? How about if Denver had some of their best pass rushers/dlinemen off the field for a breather?

1st and goal from the 3.....4 runs right up their ass. If you don't score, then you deserve to lose.

Clock management has nothing to do with that outcome. Holy cow start a thread and ask why don’t Ben go to the eye doctors? Not sure what the fu#% he was looking at but there was anoth bronco right behind the one that intercepted that pass waiting to pick it off. Clock management or play calling don’t mean crap if your QB can’t make the plays. Ben was awful all day and was pretty much awful last week for 3 quarters. We live and die with Ben and this is why we are stuck where we are, Ben just isn’t consistent enough to make us an elite team. That is the cold hard facts there, we can blame who or what we all want but Ben is just not consistent

I dont think ben was awful but I do agree his eye sight is a tad off. Not sure who he was throwing to for the end zone interception. It was piss poor for sure.

41/56 462 2 Ints. Not his greatest game but def not his worst

Well you have a right to your opinion I strongly disagree. Yes his numbers were nice but let me ask you something what good are numbers without a win? Also let me add to that if Ben was even close to being one he might have had 600 yds and 4td’s but more important a win. Good players put up stats great players win. Sorry Ben was just not on today and the wide open misses proved that and in crunch time what happened he panicked and threw it to the wrong team. Smh

Thats fine you can disagree but Ben threw a laser to MacDonald and he missed for 6 .. Conner likely was very close to getting a TD if he could maintain ball security and lastly Grimble fumbles in and out of end zone. So tell me again how this is on Ben ?

    4 turnovers vs 0 turnovers
Amazing that we didn’t lose by more

Clock management is not a reason we lost

You bring up great points but I will tell ya. Not being able to drive us down and finish off the drive to bring us back. Or maybe one of them long passes he missed so badly on. I love Ben and brag him up when he is Superman but I also will cut him down when he plays bad. Like I said good Qb’s put up stats but great QB’s put up wins. And that my friend is why we have not sniffed the SB in awhile.

You make good points of course and they can`t be disregarded, but when you have 1st and goal on the 3 yard line with the talent we have, there`s no excuse not to get in the end zone. Yes, some of the other players let us down, but when the game was on the line and we needed Ben to make a play, he blew it. That`s the nature of the position. Ben did blow it

That final play was doomed from the start, Ben bobbled the snap, then couldn't decide if he wanted to handoff to Conner. Then Ben with a terrible decision to force it to AB .

Ben is my favorite QB. Yes he is like all the gunslingers. He makes some weird plays good and bad.
Ben is like a late career Farve. There were certain games when everyone is screwing up, and Brett and Ben feel like they have to do something to find a way to win. Sometimes it works and sometimes we shake our heads. He needed to throw that last pick away. I really wouldn't care if it was 4th down and had to make a play on that exact play. The fumbles and key dropped passes have to be made everyday game in this modern NFL. There isn't much room for mistakes anymore. It doesn't matter who you play. Offenses just go up and down the field.

It was among the worst decisions I've ever seen a Steelers QB make. Too many other options.

It would be great to score the tying TD with 3 secs n the clock. But suppose you don't?
You can bag on Tomlin or Ben for clock management, but today is not a good example of it,

Folks, you can't turn ball over 4 times and expect to beat a good team. How many points did we
leave out there? Many potential points.

Disagree...... 4 turnovers, 1 blocked kick and Ben missing on 2 easy wide open TD's!

Meh, you're deliberately leaving out important facts just to make a point.

    - VM missing a sure 6 pts by dropping a pass Ben put right in his hands
    - XG fumbling a 100% TD by simply not switching direction when he saw a safety coming at him for a hit (at the very least, protect the ball better dude)
    - JC fumbling in wide-open space after getting hit in the leg. Come on. Led to 7 the other way
    - Washington diving for a ball when he could have just kept running - sure 6.
    - A defense that STILL doesn't have a scheme for covering a TE. Jeez.

Yeah, Ben bungled that last play and should have thrown it away for another shot. Others have pointed it out already - you get what you get with a gunslinger. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. But oh how short our memory is - wasn't it just last week he *was* Superman and won that game for us?

They are all contributors but show me a team that wins with a -4 in the turnover category???? Not gonna win many games like that, bottom line.
